Sweet and Sour Pork
(Yield: 3 Servings)

Ingredient:
1/2 lb Pork (Cut pork into 1/2 inch chunks)
1 tbsp Sake
1 tbsp Soy sauce
4 tbsps Cornstarch
1 med. Onion
3.5 Oz Carrot (cut into bite size pieces)
1 med. Green pepper
4 med. Strawberries (cut in halves)
2 tbsps Veg. Oil
---Sauce-----
1 cp Water
3 tbsps Sugar
3 tbsps Soy Sauce
3 1/2 tbpsp Ketchup
3 tbsps Vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp Cornstarch
Preparation:
1. 1. In a bowl, combine and mix pork, sake, soy sauce, and cornstarch. In a deep frying pan, heat oil to 170
deg. C and deep fry pork for 4 minutes or until golden brown.
2. Peel carrots and cut into 1 inch length. Then cut carrot pieces in halves length wise. Also, cut
strawberries in halves.
3. Mix all the ingredient under sauce together. Set aside. In a wok or frying pan, heat 2 tbsps of oil.
Cook onion and green pepper for 2-3 minutes. Then add carrots and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
4. Add deep fried pork to vegetables and cook for 1-2 min. to heat up the pork. Then add the sauce
mixture and bring to boil. Last, add strawberries; mix and serve. (Note: do not over cook vegetables or it
will be too soft).
