We assume most people will be here for many more days than just the three of the weekend, and we will certainly help to entertain you during that time, also. This is just to try and establish some kind of ...... solidarity to the event.
Please let us know if there is anything in particular you would like to see or do while you are here in Perth. That way we can make sure we have all the info beforehand.

THE DAYS LEADING UP TO THE 6th
These will be spent picking everyone up from the Airport and setting up lodgings. Please, feel free to assume that one or all of us will meet you at the Airport when you arrive. If you would prefer to rent a car, then we can make sure you have the appropriate directions on how to find us. (just remember - we drive on the correct side of the road - THE LEFT!!*LOL*)
FRIDAY THE 6th OF OCTOBER 2000
0800 - *OJ and headache tablets to begin*
0930 - all meet at the Rockingham Foreshore for a BBQ 'brunch' (that is our term for a cross between Breakfast and Lunch). This is a really nice, relaxing place to be .. good for getting to know each other.
It is right on the beach, so walks and skinny dipping will be encouraged! *grin*
There are some nice shops and a small museum of Rockingham's History within a 2 or 3 minute walk of the BBQ area.
1200 - Time to explore the local area if so wished. Maybe some fishing for those who would like, down at Point Peron. This is a lovely place just to walk and look at the ocean, too. Perhaps a visit to Penguin Island for some?
1700 - Back to your tent/room/hotel to refresh for dinner and to check your e-mail *grin*.
1930 - For those who wish, lets meet for dinner at the Swinging Pig? (RockingHam) Easy priced meal and a relaxed atmosphere .... who knows how we will end up!! *L*
SATURDAY THE 7th OF OCTOBER 2000
0800 - *OJ and headache tablets to begin*
0900 - Bus trip to Fremantle. THE PORT CITY of Western Australia. This is a facinating, cosmopolitan and historic city. Still, being in Western Australia, you can walk the whole city in a couple of hours! *smile* There are old convict buildings, a wonderful maritime museum, the 'Old Gaol' (jail) - built by the convicts, for the convicts made into a facinating tourist site, craft markets, wonderful cafe's and great pubs!
1400 - Lets all gather for lunch at 'Rosy O'Grady's' Irish pub. There is not usually live Irish music during the day, but I am sure we can arrange something.
1630 - Bus trip back to Rockingham (with *OJ and headache tabs on board!*)
1700 - Back to your tent/room/hotel to refresh for THE BIG NIGHT !!!
1930 - All meet at 'The Last Drop Inn' for fun, drinks, dinner and a night of entertainment and fun!!!
