Leadership in Action - September 18, 2000
District Governors Report
Delivered at the September 16 Executive Council meeting
- PJ Glauz, DTM

The August numbers for the Critical Success Factors are out
and looking good. This is because of the efforts you and your
team have put forward so far.  The Goal is Distinguished by
April 30th, 2001. The momentum is there, members are focused
on taking their "Step To Success".

CTM's are above the last three years average. This is a good
sign.

ATM's are more than half done. Great Job

Clubs - The numbers show two new clubs. This is fantastic.

Percaps (members) are slightly above the 3 year average.

Steps to consider for continued Success:
1. Keep starting new clubs.
2. Work the Distinguished Club Plan and the Moments of Truth.
When clubs meet the goals of the members, members stay
involved.
3. Have every club working on a new member campaign. If the
current members
can see the changes occurring in them, they will willing
recruit others to
experience the same changes.
4.  Wear your Toastmaster pin.
5.  Tell at least one person each day about Toastmasters
6.  Advertise your club
7.  Obtain promotional flyers from your Area Governors to
post in libraries, colleges, grocery stores in your clubs
neighborhood.
8.  Ask someone to visit your club
9.  Ask someone to join your club

Your efforts are greatly appreciated, "Step To Success",
Distinguished by April 30th, 2001.
