Chris Kirkpatrick had the inital idea to get a group going, thats why he called Justin Timberlake. Justin had been working on the Mickey Mouse Club,he knew Chris from some auditions. Justin instantly was into the the idea. Next Justin called JC Chasez, whom he had gotten to know from working on the Mickey Mouse Club. JC was also into the idea. Then one night they were out at a club (JC,Justin, and Chris) they ran into Joey Fatone. Joey was shocked to see them all together, he asked them what was up. They explained to Joey that they were forming a group. Joey then joined the three guys. Now they had four members, they knew that they needed a fifth person because none of them could sing base. Justin began to research through his old vocal coach, and that is how they found Lance Bass. They basically took it from there!! And became one of the most popular groups in the world!
