I wonder if three Top 8 performances by green will finally end the whining about green. Green makes an awfully good beatdown deck.

There really isn't much to say about StAmPy. This deck is just all super-efficient creatures, the best enhancement cards in Type II (Rancor, and Giant Growth) and Cursed Scroll.

The main distinction between Cursed StAmPy and earlier green beatdown decks is that it actually has a midgame. After an initial rush of ten or more damage, Cursed Scroll becomes a serious path to victory in and of itself. Treetop Village is also very dangerous... probably it gets too little respect as a midgame strategy, just smashing in for 3 or so, turn after turn.

StAmPy is a dangerous opponent for most control decks (especially blue control, because the regenerating creatures can fight Powder Keg), and even decks like Corrupter Black have to devote a respectable number of Perishes against it. StAmPy tends to roll over to decks that have diversified elimination cards, backed up by, say, Wildfire.
