Why I hunt
Hunting is not just about blood and death. Hunting has so much more with it than killing God's creators. It is a great time to bond with my family and friends. I do not get to spend time with my dad very often. Hunting season is the only time we get to hang out and be friends not father son. He does not have to yell at me to clean my room, do homework, or take the trash out. All he has to do is be my friend. I have seen some of the most beautiful things in the world while hunting. I remember three years ago sitting on a field before dark watching the sunset behind six bucks. I could not shoot them because it would of ruined the whole picture. I was sitting on a duck pond last fall while eight mallards went whizzing by as the sun just broke over ridge. I will admit that killing is part of it but not the death of the animal. It is not the fact an animal died and you ended its life, but it is the work that went into it. The stories you made during the trip and the time spent with every one. I have came home with no meat more than I have with meat but I always come home with a smile.
