Anticipating my 50th birthday, I pause to reflect...............okay, that's enough. I have so many great memories that it's difficult to do a brief history but I'll try.

I have had a full and happy life so far & fully intend to enjoy the next thirty years. Greg & I celebrated our 30th Anniversay last April. We have enjoyed raising our two children to adulthood and now it's time to spoil our grandchildren rotten!

Our daughter Kimberly has recently re-married (a terrific guy, Dean)
and they just bought a house a few miles from us. She has blessed us with two extraordinary grandkids, Isaac (7 yrs) and Alyssa(5 yrs)and they are truly a joy to us! Kim is a licensed cosmetologist and has just been promoted to Manager of her shop.

Our son Scott has been living in the San Francisco area for the past several years but has recently relocated to Seattle, WA. He's been working in the electrical field, mostly installing security equipment and cables for computers, monitors etc. He worked on the new stadium in 'Frisco.

Greg was an Air Force brat also, his Dad retired in '63. After he graduated in '68 he joined the Marine Corps. Rhonda introduced us in Dec. '70 and we were married at the base chapel on MCAS YUMA in April of '71. We did a little traveling courtesy of the Corps and when he left the military we decided to settle in Yuma.

Greg used his education benefits to attend Arizona Western College and received an Associates Degree in Broadcasting. He has been with the college for the past 15 years at KAWC AM/FM (NPR)the college radio station and is the News Director.

I have had various jobs over the years in addition to being a domestic goddess!! The past twelve years I have worked for an irrigation company, specializing in residential & agricultural irrigation. We sell pvc pipe, fittings, sprinklers, valves etc. I'm one of several designers of sprinkler systems & I normally handle residental plans. We do not install although my customers are often inviting me out to help them. I just laugh!!

We love living in Yuma and yes it is HOT in the summer but the winters are so enjoyable! Our population triples between Oct. & May each year as "snowbirds" flock into town from all over the world to enjoy the great weather. "WE DON'T SHOVEL SNOW!!!!!!"

Looking forward to learning how everyone is doing. I've thought of the BJDs so often thru the years & wondered......but never dreamed we could find each other. What a nostalgia trip!!!!!
