HEROES OF FAITH
Hebrew 12:1-2 talks about a "great cloud of witnesses." This cloud of witnesses consisted of people who demonstrated the strength and value of faith in their lives. Their stories are referred to in Hebrews 11. Their testimony would move us to the same sort of faith. But not only do they tell of the value of faith, they tell us what faith is and how it works. These sermons are an attempt to relay to the audience the meat of their message, so that we might all lay aside the weight and the sin that distract us from the goal, and run patiently the race to heaven.
