I.      Vs. 1.  SIT THOU ON MY RIGHT HAND.

A.  PETER’S DIRECT APPLICATION (Acts 2:34-35).

          1.  Authority (Eph. 1:20-22).

          2.  Glory (Heb. 1:3;  13).

C.  UNTIL WHEN?  ENEMIES à FOOTSTOOL.

          1.  His resurrection (Eph. 1:22).

          2.  Again, authority (Acts 2:34-35).

          3.  Anticipation (Heb. 10:12-13;  2:5-10).

          4.  The final enemy (Heb. 2:14-15).

B.  SAVED THROUGH TEACHING (John 6:44-45).

          1.  God’s grace (Titus 2:11-12).

          2.  God’s tool (1 Cor. 1:21;  Rom. 1:16).

C.  WE MUST BELIEVE AND OBEY (2 Cor. 6:1;  Heb. 3:18-19).

D.  GOD’S INTENTION IS NEVER THAT WE SHOULD BE LOST (Ez. 33:10-11).

E.  SO ALL ARE INVITED (Matt. 11:28).

          1.  Free will (Rev. 22:17).

          2.  Some reject (Rom. 10:16).

IV.   Vs. 4.  PRIEST FOREVER.

A.  MUST HAVE GIFTS AND SACRIFICES (Heb. 8:3).

B.  AFTER THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK.
