The first sequel we ever made was The Windy Day II: Bad Times at Boarding School. This movie was based on the novel (rather short story) "The Journey" by Alex Chihak. He had a dream about a group of trouble makers who escaped from a very bad boarding school. The movie starts off with a kid getting splashed in the face with water to wake up. Some alarm clock! Two kids have an adventure getting out by blowing up balloons and running from dogs. They take trains and all sorts of transportation just to get to the fictional town of Lee, California. In the end, they get away and "call de National Guard."
