- THE DANCE OF ETERNITY- This was the bootleg that sparked the fanfair to pressure Dream THeater into releasing A Change Of Seasons. - SHOWDOWN AT BIRCH HILL- (6-9-95) (NJ)(2cds) (audience A/A-)) - Here's one hell of a show from the rare 1995 A Change of Seasons Introduction tour. Under a Glass Moon, The Mirror, Lie, Lifting Shadows off A Dream, Showdown, Caught In A Web, Surrounded, Keys SOlo, Erotomania, Voices, The Silent Man, For Rena/Lost Without You, Pull Me Under, A Change of Seasons, Waiting For Sleep,Learning To Live
- LIDO BEACH PARTY-(NY,6-13-95)(2cd) (audience(A-))This is a show from the short and very rare 1995 "A Change Of Seasons Tour". - REGRESSION OF A MEMORY- (2cd)(11-24-99) This is my favorite show from the pre-MET2000 era. Not only is the sound awesome(audience(A)) but the attitude is really cool! The whole band messes around throughout the show. Check the setlists for the other 1999 shows i have for a setlist, it's the same.
- SAN FRANCISCO 2000- 2cd's-(audience(A-/B+))(February 06) This is just what you imagined, MET. 2- Scenes From A Memory all the way LIVE!!! This has many extended versions of songs. Check other 2000 shows for details.
- DREAM THEATER- A Memory Of Chicago 2000- 2cd's from February 13, 2000. This is just what you imagined, MET. 2- Scenes From A Memory all the way LIVE!!! This has many extended versions of songs including "Through her Eyes", they have a guitar solo to start the song off and to end it. Great!! ALso during "A Dance Of Eternity" Jordan RUdess plays one hell of a Keyboard SOLO!! Amazing! After the whole album they play the "when images and Dream Unite" medley. Also "peruvian skies", an instrumental medley(Erotomania/paradigm shift), and "Wipe Out"! It's really sooo cool to hear all of this stuff live, totally reminds me of the show I saw! I definately recommend this one. Wonderful artwork was made up for this as well, trippy cd art!
- OVERATURE 2000- (2cds) (audience (A-/A) (2-14-00)). Here's the greatest sounding audience recording of the tour so far! Same setlist as the others including "Dr. Evil Theme, Instrumental Medley,Peruvian SKies". They put on a great show here and actually it's odd to hear but Petrucci messes up a few times. Definately recommend it though.
- DREAM THEATER- Scenes From Cleveland-2 cds from cleveland, OH. (audience(A-) This has the same sound quality and setlist as the "A Memory Of Chicago" cd's. The only difference at all is the fact that Petrucci plays "Amazing Grace" right before "Through Her Eyes" and it's great!! Here's the other details: this is just what you imagined, MET.
- THE TRADEWINDS 2000-(2cd)(2-20-00)(NJ) This is another great recording from the MET2000 tour.(audience(A)). Great quality here. Read the above Cleveland show details for details on this show as they are practically the same just different quality wise.

This is a soundboard recording from the new tour with some really great artwork. Trust me on this one, this is one great 2 cd set. The sound is so crisp and clear and they put on a wonderful. By far the best you'll find on the new tour. setlist- 'Disc 1'- 1) Regression 2) Overature 1928 3) Strange de ja vu 4) Through my words 5) Fatal tragedy 6) Beyond this life 7) Through her eyes 8) Home 'Disc 2' 1) A dance of eternity 2) One last time 3) The spirit carries on 4) Finally free 5) Peruvian skies 6) Austin Powers/Erotomania/Paradigm shift 7) When images and words unite
- DREAM THEATER- TOKYO 2000(2cds) (audience (A-) (5-15-00)). Great show from the Europe/Asian 2000 tour. Much better than the US shows for a few reasons. One being that they added some of the LTE song "state of grace" during the Petrucci solo before "THrough her eyes", another being the new Medley they created. This Medley consists of "The Mirror, Crimson Sunset, Just let me Breathe, Acid Rain(LTE), and Caught in Alices 9 inch tool garden". Don't forget they also play Scenes From A Memory all the way through as well as the intro to "Sanitarium"(metallica), "peruvian skies/Dr. Evil Theme/Erotomania/Paradigm Shift(LTE) and last but not least the final medley of "Pull me Under/Under A Glass Moon/A Fortune in Lies/Only a Matter of Time/Take the Time.
- DREAM THEATER - MARY-GO-ROUND 2000 - (8-16-00) (soundboard/webcast (quality (A+/A)).
Heres one hell of a show from San Francisco during the second leg of the US metropolis 2000 tour. This is a pro recording sourced from a live webcast which I recorded on to my MD recorder and then burned to cd, the sound is amazing folks! Since most of you folks know that "A Change of Seasons" was teh final encore of the show but wasn't part of the broadcast, I decided to add in the official demo of "A Change of Seasons" with Kevin moore on keys and James Labrie on vocals with the badass instrumental section in it that was later left out on the official released. I recommend this show to everyone because there are just so many cool things on in, not to mention "Learning to Live" all the way through! here's the setlist:
(Disc 1) 1) Metropolis pt. 1 2)Overature 1928 3)Strange De Ja Vu 4)Fatal Tadegy 5)The Mirror+Lie solo 6)Just Let me Breathe 7) Acid Rain 8)Caught In A New Mellenium
(Disc 2) 1) Another Day 2)Petrucci Solo(amazing!) 3)Home 4) Rudess solo 5)Erotomania 6)Voices 7)The Spirit Carries On 8) Learning To Live 9) A Change Of Seasons (demo)
- WEBBED THEATER- (2cds) (8-19-00) (audience(b+)). A complete show from the Phoenix, AZ show at the Web Theater. Everything about this show is wonderful and has a great setlist. COMPILATION CD's/X-MAS CD's
- FAN CLUB CHRISTMAS CD 1996 - The first of the now famous, Fan Club Christmas CD’s. Dream Theater wanted to reward the members of their fan club, so they started creating these Christmas CD’s to give fans something that they would not normally hear from the band. 1996 was the first time the band sent these out. Since it is band produced, it features perfect stereo soundboard audio, 10 out of 10.The intro features the band talking and sending Christmas wishes to all their fans as well as the John’s (Petrucci & Myung) screwing around on their guitars. The rest of the disc contains unreleased cover songs from the January 1995 Uncovered Show. U2’s song Red Hill Mining Town just sounds amazing…the best cover version of this song I have ever heard. They also cover by Tears by Rush, Metallica’s Damage Inc. with Barney Greenway from Nepalm Death on vocals and the Christmas Traditional - O’ Holy Night. All the Christmas CD’s are a must have for any Dream Theater fan. tracklist-1. Opening Message 2. Red Hill Mining Town 3. Tears 4. Damage Inc. 5. O' Holy Night 6. Closing Message
- FAN CLUB CHRISTMAS CD 1997 - 1997 was the second time the band sent these out. Since it is band produced, it features perfect stereo soundboard audio, 10 out of 10. On this CD, the band became a little more "in depth" with the Christmas CD. The CD is titled "The Making Of Falling Into Infinity" and features a very behind the scenes look at how that album was created, recorded and produced. You get to hear lots of backing tracks, the band discussing the actual creation of the songs with the producer, different unreleased takes of certain sections of the songs, DT screwing around and joking in the studio…too many great moments to list. Another "must have" for the DT fan. cd tracks at over 70 minutes.
- FAN CLUB CHRISTMAS CD 1998 - Dream Theaters Christmas cd. Packed with all live tunes from the fan club show. Professional quality and lots of rarities here. Unlike many other places, artwork is included here. setlist- Eve, Speak to Me, Lifting Shadows Off a Dream, Hey You, The Silent Man, Cover my Eyes, Mean Street, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Anna Lee, To Live Forever, Thank You's, Bad
- FAN CLUB CHRISTMAS CD 1999 - Properly titled "Cleaning out the Closet". This is all of Dream Theater's never released songs. Everything that didn't make the albums is right here and mixed perfectly! This is enough material to make an album and it sounds as good as one. here it is with full artwork! Here's the tracklist. 1)Don't Look Past Me(with Labrie on vocals!!!) 2) To Live Forever (1991 demo) 3)To Live Forever (1994 Awake outtake with extended vocals) 4) Eve (instrumental/Awake outtake) 5)Raise the Knife (1996(11:35 long!)) 6) Where are you Now (1996) 7) The Way it Used To Be 8)COver My Eyes 9) Speak to Me
- ACOUSTIC DREAMS- Featuring a variety of sources and qualities. Anything from demos to acoustic versions of songs to recorded jams here. Even some live sniplets. Great bootleg. Quality varies. Definately recommended though. Setlist- Another Day, Lifting Shadows, Wait For Sleep, Silent Man, Long Island Expressway, Tears, O Holy Night, Perfect Strangers, 6:00, Caught in A Web, Voices, Bad
- PRECIOUS THINGS- Another compilation cd. This is my favorite compilation cd. I'd grade it A/A- quality wise. It's wonderful though, highlights include A Change Of Seasons done live with great quality and performed great! setlist- 1) 6:00(live A+) 2) Covers Medley/Innocence Faded(live A+!!) 3)Raise The Knife(very rare instumental demo, A quality, great!) 4) A Change Of Seasons(Live A+) 5)Lost Without You(the most beautiful instrumental I've ever heard them play, and I've heard them all. John Petrucci does great, LIVE A+) 6) Solar Groove(a really cool demo grade A+) 7) Freeport Jam (studio instrumental headlining John Myung, A quality) 8) Lifting Shadows Off a Dream (great grade A demo) 9) Learning to Live (demo grade A, James Labrie's audition tape)
- SUBCONSCIOUS- An interesting compilation. Various quality ranges. I'd give it an overall B/B- though. Highlights include "Mission Impossible" and "A Change of Seasons". setlist- vigil, A change of seasons, o holy night, carry that weight, don't look past me, wanted dead or alive, to live forever, session, mission impossible, back pain jam, awake heavy jam, experimental, tears, winter
- THE WAY IT OUGHT TO BE- This compilation has demos for 9 songs that either made it or didn't make it to Falling Into Infinity. Great quality though. Also included is a long studio drum solo done by Mike Portnoy and him playing the Alice in chains song. Here's the setlist: You or me, THe way it used to be, Take away my pain(great version), Speak to me, Burning my soul(the old version with Hells Kitchen in the middle), Lines in the sand(cutoff after solo), Hollow years, Just Let Me Breathe, Cover My Eyes, Portnoys Dream(awesome studio drum solo), Would?(Alice in Chains cover with Portnoy on the drums)
- LIQUID DREAMS- This is the best bootleg I've picked up from a store. This is a live concert done by Liquid Tension Experiment at the NAMM. Live stuff from them, then for the rest of the cd you have a ton of instumentals done by Dream Theater. It's really wonderful and I'd grade it from A/A+. Any fan of Liquid Tension or just any instumentals definately get this. It's amazing.
- JOHN PETRUCCI SOLO'S OF PETRUCCI- This is one hell of a Petrucci compilation. Every track is instrumental and awesome! Sound quality varies but for the most part it's very good. setlist-Necronomicon part 1,Necronomicon part 2,Live instrumental jam with drum solo,Swell solo,Viking intro,Winters night,Blues jam,Wake up and solo,Solo (live 98),Gorilla session,Long island expressway,Moonbubbles,Late summers rain/schizophrinia,Confessions of an artist/somewhere under the, rainbow,Stars,Light guitar piece,Thinking of you
Dream Theater Video's
- 10/1/92- With this being the beginning of the Images and Words tour they decided to go back home for one more show before they had to leave for the rest of the tour. Great performance done here. Grade B video. Complete show.
- Limelight '93 (A-) 100min includes A Change Of Seasons. This is basically the bootleg video of the Cd's "A Dance Of Eternity". This has the same great quality sound and it's so much better to actually watch them. Some things that I thought sounded impossible during the great version of "A Change Of Seasons" with Kevin Moore are now able to be watched. I definately recommend you watch this video.
- JAPAN 1995- Professional video. Grade A video and audio. Complete show done during the Awake era. Done on Japan pay per view. Definately recommended. This is the video that "6:00", and "Voices" was taken from on the 5 years in a livetime video. It's great. Full show.
- 4/97- Show done to promote Falling Into Infinity. Great and long video. Grade B+/A- quality. Great closeups during solos though. WHich i greatly love. Unfortunately this is an incomplete show.
- MILAN 1997- a show in Italy before Falling Into Infinity came out. The play a few songs from the album but they are different versions than the actual album versions. They also combine New Millenium with Caught In a Web, it's very intersting. Grade B video. Complete show.
- Bonn Germany Live- This is from the Falling Into Infinity Tour. Some live songs and an interview with the band. This is relatively short but includes professional video and soundboard sound and one of the songs is "Hollow Years" played on JPs ibanez guitar. Great Quality!
- IRVING PLAZA New York 11-22-97- This is a great show from the Falling into infinity tour. This video has it all including "Scarred" played all the way through. ALso, this contains the band performing as "Nightmare Cinema" which is where they all trade instruments and jam out on the song "Perfect Strangers", this is very rare and it's great so see, it's the actual show that they showed a clip in the 5 Years in a Livetime video when they're all goofing around on stage, same recording. This is a audience recording and was digitized very professionally with multiple cameras recording at once(so the views are always changing and very professional). Trust me, you gotta get this video, it's the best hand held i've ever seen! Quality is even greater than that of the other show i have on video from the same place. This show is better too cause just all around kick ass!! A++++quality! full show
- IRVING PLAZA (5-8-1998)- The New York show that Dream Theater gave permission to be recorded. Done by three cameras this is the most professional sounding and looking audience video i've ever seen. At many times i forget it's not done Professionally. So I rank this an A+. Full show by the way.
- LIQUID TENSION EXPERIMENT + RMP COMP. video-2 hr compilation includes; 1-31-99 Namm Show LA, CA LTE + Rudess Morgenstein Project....LTE 2-1-99 Roxy, Hollywood, CA.- This is a great video with tons of stuff. This includes 2 Liquid Tension Experiment shows and 1 Rudess Morgenstein Project show. All quality is great and if you're into Rudess or LTE this is the video to get, in fact it's the only video to get. :)
- DREAM THEATER- 1999 live (PRO) (video) (vid= A-) (audio= A+)- This was the first concert with Jordan officially back with the band and the last show before "Scenes From a Memory" was released. This was at a festival and it wall full of rain and wind the whole show. Great performance and definately a great show. Songs include "another day", "metropolis pt. 1", and an electric version of "Hollow Years". Show is about an hour long and great quality, just a little snow. Sounds great.
- MILAN 1999(video)- (sound (b+), video (A))This is the Milan, Italy show from the pre- Metroplolis 2000 tour. I swear the band must have thought that they were back on the Images and Words Tour because I've never seen them run around the stage and jump around as much since. WOW! great quality video and a very fun video to watch!
- MINN, MN 2-11-00 (Video)(audience (A- video and sound) (115)- This is my only video from the new Metropolis 2000 tour. This has great sound and good closeups. The show is wonderful. Check my 2000 tour cd's for the setlist. It's great to relive the experience of the show I went to. Get this if you wanna relive the tour or if you missed it and wanna see it. Get this!
- PITTSBURGH 2-19-2000 (video) - (audience recording) video (A+) audio (A) Alright, here's one hell of a video from the Metropolis 2000 tour. The video here is just amazing as the venue is very small which allows the band to be very close to eachother and gives for great video shots of the whole group and that awesome since they play the whole album and you like to see what's going on. The sound is also very good and I'd definately recommend this as the best audience video from the new tour that I've seen. See the setlists for the other 2000 shows to see what they play.
- HOB ORLANDO 2000- (sound (A+) video (A-) PRO recording) Alright let me explain the quality vairiations here. This was more than likely recorded from the cpu stream of the show to a vcr where it was recorded on a video cassete. This means that you can tell that it was made for a cpu because of the video pauses every 10 seconds or so, the sound is constant and it sounds perfect and I still really recommend this because of the great shots that you get throughout the show. It's very professional and is well worth getting. For a setlist refer to the 2 cd set "A House Full Of Memories" as it's the same exact show.
- DREAM THEATER - KOREA 2000 (video) (pro shot)(A+)- This is the coolest video you can find so far from the Metropolis 2000 tour. It was recorded straight from Korean pay per view and the quality is astonishing! Video and audio is actually better than the Awake tour pay per view(if you can imagine how great this is). THe setlist consists of "Scenes From A Memory ", "Puppies on Acid/ ACOS part 2", "Just let me Breathe/When Images and Words Unite".
