Riah is home to the Moon Thread Eyrie and houses all the Gryphon-rider pairs in Q’uinar.
Riah is basically one big mountain range, but in the middle of the island the mountains drop down, and create a beautiful and fertile valley.
Several large families of farmers and ranchers live in the western end of the island, and provide most of the food and animals for the eyrie. In return, the riders bring in supplies, as the steep cliffs on all sides of the island make it impossible for ships to get in.
