Should Magic Get a Facelift?

Magic has been around for quite a few years now (7), and it's had the same design for the whole time. I got the picture above from a site that I forgot the name of (there are so many) and now I'm thinking: is this for real? Well, it's probably not real. But it might be. So now I'm thinking: Does Magic need a facelift? New design, same gameplay. Now I'm gonna list the pros and cons of getting a new design.
Pros
Flashier look could attract new players
More space for text
Casting cost is a little easier to see
Cons
To an old player, it looks strange
Change is hard for some people
