I’m pissed:
I’m pissed off at this “special.” It was long and annoying and actually extremely boring. When they finally got done with all those promos for summer programming that no one in their right mind would stay home and watch, and played the actual countdown, they managed to play like NONE of the videos. Like one to two minutes. It was annoying as all hell. And I noticed more than ever the stupidity of the various hosts and guests. However, Blink-182 was the light in the tunnel (hehe) because they actually entertained me, which the countdown itself did not manage to do. (I heard Travis talk more today than ever before combined. Even at all the concerts I’ve been to, he’s never talked.)
According to James: What happened to the voting list? I mean, they take out Britney Spears
"Sometimes" which was retired and put some videos that never even made it to
TRL as far as I know (702, Enrique, etc.). And then on the actual
countdown: Aaliyah, Brandy & Monica, Tom Green, etc., they all made it to
No.1, yet they get replaced by DMX and Hanson who were on about 12 days.
Huh? Seriously, TRL has no idea how popular the videos on their countdown
are!
One More Thing…
“I Want It That Way”? Wait, what number was it at? Wait, was it #1? Yeah, yes it was! OH, who’s good? (it’s me--I SO predicted that!)
