The SoberLady is a member of the Yahoo Group called OurJourneyContinues. This group is a non-published but open email group for any member of any 12 Step program, their families, friends, loved ones and even medical and treatment professionals who are interested in continuing to grow through sharing their experience, strength and hope in this kind of a setting. The SoberLady is Noel from Prescott Valley, AZ. She has been "Sober and Clean" since December 20, 1987. She has been a wife, and is a mother and grandmother.
She is originally from Southern California, but moved to the mountains of central Arizona almost 7 years ago, although her daughter, Brandi and her two grandchildren Cristofer and Charynn, still live in San Diego. She hopes to return to California soon.
A little more than 5 years ago, The SoberLady suffered a fall which left her disabled. As a result she does a large part of her "12 Step" work either on the internet or over the telephone. In fact in this age of CyberMiracles, she even does Online Sponsorship.

Although she is not a "Big Book Thumper", she does believe wholeheartedly in "tough love" (being told what you need to hear, rather than what you might want to hear). She will share with you her experience, strength and hope about how she got sober and stays sober, one day at a time.
In sobriety the SoberLady has observed that part of the process of sobriety is learning how to "live life on life's terms". In order to help you in that process, she will provide information on all sorts of topics, which she believes have helped her to do just that. They may help you as well, for example: AA Information, Anxiety and Stress Management, Attitude Ajdustment, Awareness, On Becoming Better People, Diet and Nutrition, Exercise, Health Issues, Love and Family, Love and Friendships, and Love and Marriage, What Children Learn (or maybe what they could/should/would learn) and provide shares about their experiences, from others in sobriety, plus a whole lot more as time goes by.
