In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Only those who repent, reform, hold fast to God,
and devote their religion absolutely to God alone,
will be counted with the believers.
God will bless the believers with a great recompense. [4:146]
Say, "My Contact Prayers (Salat), my worship
practices,
my life and my death, are all devoted absolutely to God alone,
the Lord of the universe. [6:162]
They said, "Did you come to make us worship God
alone,
and abandon what our parents used to worship?
We challenge you to bring the doom you threaten us with,
if you are truthful." [7:70]
God has decreed for the people of the scripture (Jews, Christians and Muslims) different rites. The religious duties are similar for all, but the rites are different. For example, the Quran does not sanction a day for sabbath, but points out that it was decreed for the Christians and Jews. Thus those who are submitters amongst the Christians, Jews or any other religion; and those who religious beliefs and practices are within the confines of the first commandment may choose to follow the rites within their religion as long as the rites are dedicated to God alone and are sanctioned by God rather than humans. Indeed the Quran calls upon the Christians and Jews to follow the laws in their scriptures.
Then we revealed to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming previous scriptures, and superseding them. You shall rule among them in accordance with GOD's revelations, and do not follow their wishes if they differ from the truth that came to you. For each of you, we have decreed laws and different rites. Had GOD willed, He could have made you one congregation. But He thus puts you to the test through the revelations He has given each of you. You shall compete in righteousness. To GOD is your final destiny - all of you - then He will inform you of everything you had disputed. [5:48]
However, if your devotion and worship is to God alone, would you rather not adhere to God's final scripture to the humans - The Final Testament, the Quran which God calls complete, perfect, fully detailed, fully preserved and which comes with a built-in proof?
Only the sincere can understand the Quran, grasp it's meanings and witness it's miracle which God calls, "One of the great miracles", in 74:35. The insincere who are not satisfied with the Quran alone are divinely prevented from understanding the Quran. This concept is repeated throughout the Quran (17:45-46, 18:57).
None can grasp it except the sincere. [56:79]
Indeed, the book of the wicked is in Sijjeen. Do
you know what Sijjeen is? A numerically structured book. Woe on that day
to the rejectors. [83:7-10]
Indeed, the book of the righteous will be in `Elleyyeen. Do you know what
`Elleyyeen is? A numerically structured book. To be witnessed by those close
to Me. [83:18-21]
God commands us to read the Quran from cover to cover. Logic dictates that we should read the Quran in a language we understand. A translation will suffice. Verse 41:44 points that knowledge of Arabic is irrelevant to understanding or better understanding the Quran.
And read the Quran from cover to cover. [73:4]
Belief in God dictates that we believe God. God states that the Quran is perfect, fully detailed and the only source of religious law. This dictates upon us that we discard all sources of religious law other than the Quran. For the muslims it mandates that they discard all Hadith and Sunna. For the Christians, it dictates that they discard fabrications created after the death of Jesus, culminating in the Trinity concept, in the city of Nicene 300 years after the death of Jesus. For the Jews it dictates that they uphold the Torah and discard Mishnah and Gemarrah dictated by humans.
We did not leave anything out of this book. [6:38]
Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed? Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt. [6:114]
The word of your Lord is complete, in truth and justice. Nothing shall abrogate His words. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient. [6:115]
There are no rituals required to become a submitter or muslim. It is a personal decision you will have to take and accept a few basics.
The first commandment - There in no god but God.
Believe what God states in His scripture.
Start obeying the words of God in His scripture.
Start religious duties dedicated to God alone.
They act as if they are doing you a favor by embracing
Submission!
Say, "You are not doing me any favors by embracing Submission.
God is the One who is doing you a great favor
by guiding you to the faith, if you are sincere." [49:17]
When God ALONE is mentioned,
the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion.
But when others are mentioned beside Him,
they become satisfied. [39:45]
This is because when God ALONE was advocated,
you disbelieved, but when others were mentioned beside Him,
you believed. Therefore, God's judgment has been issued;
He is the Most High, the Great. [40:12]
