DA Thunder

Don Adams has been involved in professional wrestling for over 15 years. What started out as a bet to see who could last five minutes in the squared circle with a professional wrestler, progressed to full-fledged training under the late George de La Isla, along with Red Bastien, and Mongo Guerrera. Don trained in Los Angelas at de La Isla's training camp, which has produced such greats as Sting and the Ultimate Warrior. While in California, Don was involved in several different wrestling organizations. He started out in Pacific Coast Crown Championship Wrestling, where he had a running feud with Gary "The Boss" Young and held the Heavyweight Single and Tag Team Titles twice each, respectively. He was also involved in the Golden State Wrestling organization with California legends Alex Knight, Art Barr, Don "Ripper Savage" Ross, Flying Billy Anderson and many others, as well as in a Tijuana Mexican league. Don made appearances in several wrestling movies, including Grunt: The Wrestling Movie, the Bad Boys of Wrestling and Blood Diner, as well as Rocky IV. During this time, Don was involved in WWF as a substitute wrestler and performed under the stage name of "Cowboy" Don Adams, against such stars as Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, Randy Savage, Tito Santan, Ivan Putski and other greats from the mid 80's.

Since moving back to Northern Pennsylvania several years ago, Don has been involved with WWF as well as many regional promotions. In the past few years, D.A. Thunder has been making his rounds in the independent leagues in Pennsylvania and New York, as well as in the south. In 1996, with partner Chris, "Golden Greek" Callas, he acquired the Penn York All Star Professional Wrestling Tag Team Championship Belts. Shortly thereafter, Callas left the country to further his education, leaving the tag team belts vacant. The belts were acquired by the tag team , Stormy Weather at the Penn York All Star Professional Wrestling show, Assault at the Armory, in February of 1998. Several months later, Stormy Weather dismantled, and Steve Storm and D.A. Thunder both found themselves at a show without a partner. Don and Steve exchanged words a few times but kept tempers in check and eventually they teamed together, and stunned the fans with how well they worked together. D.A. Thunder and Steve Storm continue to work independently as well as together. There have been differences between the two, but they have patched things for now and are joining forces to create a team that lives up to the name of Stormy Weather. They have maintained the Penn York Tag Team Title and worked for federations in the north and south. He has performed for promotions up and down the east coast. DA competed against Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka at a show in Northern Pennsylvania. He also continues to work out with other independent wrestlers, training less experienced wrestlers, and exchanging strategies with others at his level.
