Shirley Doe Interview

Seggal: Where do you Compete?
SHIRLEY DOE: FNW in Pittsburgh (Far North Wrestling), Steel City Wrestling and so many indies from here to Detroit to Cincinati that I have lost count.
Seggal: Have you held any titles?
SHIRLEY DOE: Sure, PWX/NWA east TV, current Steel City tag champ with Lord Zoltan and a multitude of alphabet soup titles belts from indy to indy

Seggal: What would you say has been your best match
SHIRLEY DOE: Every match gets better and better and you learn more and moe so I tend to focus on the future instead of the past.

Seggal: What moves have you added lately?
SHIRLEY DOE: I stole the Iconoclasm from CIMA, I call ith the Coma White, its that weird top rope powerbomb he does. I also do a running Lygerbomb into the corner instead of the mat and am doing a springboard into a back elbow strike. Working on more flying.

Seggal: What is the biggest name you have worked with ?
SHIRLEY DOE: The Bushwhackers, Ricky Morton. I think the indies are more about learning and the future than the past.

Seggal: If you could wrestle in any promotion what would it be?
SHIRLEY DOE: Probably Michinoku Pro or BattleArts in Japan.

Seggal: Why them?
SHIRLEY DOE: Because my style is more junior comedy shootstyle and thats what they do. I think I would fit in well. They have great workers and I would try to make them look even better.

Seggal: Lets play the name assocation game I give you a name you tell me what comes to mind

Seggal: Big Show
SHIRLEY DOE: A wasted opportunity, he has great genetic gifts if onlyhe had the drive to be a great worker.
Seggal: Jerry Lawler
SHIRLEY DOE: Someone I grew up watching and seeing as an icon.
Seggal: Vader
doe138: Depends on which Vader, lol. I love the All Japan stiff bastard Vader.
Seggal: Jeff Hardy
SHIRLEY DOE: I appreciate what he does, its just not what I do.
Seggal: Hulk Hogan
SHIRLEY DOE: If you can't say anything nice...
Seggal: Curt Hennig
SHIRLEY DOE: The first guy I noticed his bumps as being there to make the other guy look good...sad to see where he's at now, WCW misusing talent.
Seggal: Rob Van Dam
SHIRLEY DOE: My least favorite US wrestler. Too many spots, no psychology, I just don't understand.

Seggal: Do you have any final words for your fans
SHIRLEY DOE: No, that was all I wanted to say! Most guys look at interviews as a time to say me me me, but i just want to thank the fans that take the time to cheer me or even send me e-mail. I wouldn't do it if it wasnt for them.
