Seggal: Where do you compete?
Shirley Doe: I was in Steel city Wrestling until it went under, Far North Wrestling, Intense Championship Westling and soon for Pittsburgh Wrestling League, but thats a secret!
Seggal: Who trained you?
Shirley Doe: Originally, Benson Lee, but also over the years, Lord Zoltan did a lot as well. Now I train with Dory Funk Jr.
Seggal: How is Dory as a trainer?
Shirley Doe: The best in the world.
Seggal: Where do you see yourself in 5 years ?
Shirley Doe: Hopefully, in Japan or being a travelling indy guy.
Seggal: Would u want to work a large promotion in the US?
Shirley Doe: It would depend...on booking and what not and money as I make a good living doing my real job.
Seggal: What do you do outside the ring?
Shirley Doe: I'm a writer/designer for a major ad agency. I also work in freelance as an illustrtor, designer, clotehs artist.
Seggal: Which job do you prefer ?
Shirley Doe: It depends on the day. i love to write and I love to fight, so its an equal opportunity!
Seggal: What are some of the names you have worked with ?
Shirley Doe: Bushwhackers, Lita, Ricky Morton. The truth is, i have more fun working indy guys as they have a ton of talent!
Seggal: Who is the most talented indy worker in your opinion?
Shirley Doe: Locally, in my area, i would say Super Hentai. Ona national scene, Adam Pierce is pretty good from what i have seen.
Seggal: Who is your favorite to work with ?
Shirley Doe: Hmm...Denny Gregory and Hentai.
Seggal: Who else do you see in Dory Funk's training group will succeed ?
Shirley Doe: Adam, Dory's student. Jeramyr Jett, Mad Slasher, Kingpins, Muskateer, lots of guys... Everyone there was awesome...
