Our Induction Stove-top Cooker has inductor coils under the surface so that when a pan is set on the range an electric current passes through the coil creating a pulsing magnetic field. The metals of the pan are resistant to the movement of electrons causing the pan to heat up.

The pan, not the cook-top heats up and cooks the food. Nothing outside the pan is affected by the magnetic field.

You will enjoy your hot beverages and soups much faster than previously experienced without using a microwave. Induction cooking is also more energy efficient because it reduces heat from moving into the general cooking area, plus it creates a safer cooking environment because there is no open flames or exterior heat source.
