What Are Rods?

To make a long story short, I don't know. And neither does anyone else. Some people say that they are some kind of insects and other people say that they are Aliens. I only know know that I have never seen anything like them. I had my first encounter with RODS on TLC as I watched a show they did on this new phenomenon.
