A FIRE CLEANSING AND PURIFICATION

For the indoor purification you
need:
A deep pyrex bowl, at least 4-6"
deep,
more is better - not glass, ceramic,
metal.
Fire bricks to rest the bowl on.
One teaspoon of alcohol - easily found
in drugstores.
Two teaspoons either sea salt or epsom
salts.
Fire blanket to smother
fire if needed.
Place the fire bricks in center of the
room - room should be physically cleaned
first, and blessed salt & water
sprinkled around edges, and in corner -
Place bowl on top of bricks.
Have your intention of purification
firmly in mind, and dedicate the fire.
Place salt and alcohol in bowl, and
light with a long stemmed match.
As the fire burns, focus on the flames,
keeping in mind the purpose of the
fire.
Let the fire burn out completely.(don't
add any more alcohol!)
This is excellent to remove stagnant
energy. After this it might be a good
idea to go around the whole area with
incense/a smudge stick, to bless and
consecrate it to yourself.
Maybe also light a candle you've blessed
to bring in the Awen Light to fill your
space.
Let the candle (if you do this) burn all
the way down. Don't blow it out.
CLEANSING AND CLAIMING SACRED SPACE
For claiming your own space, and
banishing energy from anyone/thing else.
Bless spring water, then put it in your
mouth, and sprinkle around the area to
be cleansed. Yes - spit it out!!! sort
of like marking your territory!
In addition I use sage and cedar to
smudge the entire house frequently,
going sunwise thru the house, East to
East, remembering the corners, closets,
etc.
After banishing/clearing my space,
mentally - or with a wand or athame -I
create a sphere of light around my home,
going sunwise East back to East. You can
reinforce this sphere every day.
I
usually go sunwise visualizing white
light with specks of gold in it; then I
go widdershins visualizing blue light
with specks of silver in it;
I
finish by holding my wand upright
(pointing up, end pointing down) as I
seal the sphere going sunwise again.
It's basically a woven sphere, like a
dream catcher, that keeps out negative
energy and allows in and holds in
positive.
