Artist's note:
It took me almost a whole day to make the writeup as brief as possible. It’s still the longest one I’ve done but I couldn’t get it any shorter and still tell the entire story. I think this one came out pretty well. It took FOREVER to draw all the people on the waterfront! Although they became a bit obscured after I darkened it on the computer. Also, the design of the tea boxes was taken from one of the only known surviving tea chest from the Boston tea party. Called the “Robinson half chest”, it’s on display in the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum in Boston. It’s kind of funny that they didn’t print “Tea” or even put the king’s crest on them, but painted little daisies on them instead.
