After the 60's one, I had to redeem myself. I spent a lot of time on detail in this one.
Especially with KISS. I cheated a little on their guitars. I couldn't find any white ink for
my pen, so I drew the strings on the computer.I spent a LOT of time on them; almost a whole
working day on each member.
When you look at the whole picture at a distance, you
can see how the blackness of that area overwhelms the picture. I balanced it out with some
black areas on the other side.
About the guy with the baseball bat; the area behind it
had too many vertical lines. I had to break it up with a big horizontal element.
I know I already did a person hanging from the ceiling in the 1880's one, but I wanted
to show an example of bellbottoms and clogs and thought that would be an amusing way to
do it.
I also love how the young girl came out in this one. Her face looks really nice.
And if you look closely, you can see Captain Kangaroo in the background on the right half.
I LOVE how he came out! I still laugh when I look at that.
