This is the second part of the Late Baroque Period, from around 1655 to around the 1680's and 90's.
As bad as the previous one was, I think this is just the opposite. The characters are a lot more dynamic. I love how the lady in the far left foreground with the big teeth came out. The woman sticking her tongue out at the clergyman was offended by him. He was rumored to have "touched" her little brother inappropriately. He's saying "now now my child. No need to get upset. Come into my rectory and we'll talk about it."
Above them is the bear. I just wanted to put something crazy in it besides the roadrunner. Let's just say the roadrunner is a stufed model, brought back from some expedition into the American Southwest. (many Europeans, especially the Spanish, ventured into the American continent around this time).
The guy on the right of the table is the Quaker oats dude farting. The lady beside him just smelt it. The book she's reading is "The Erotic Adventures of Count Oglethorpe" just a goofy name I made up.
The dog to the right of the table is a Weimarner. He's looking at the chicken leg.
The guy above him has bad breath and the woman he's with is showing her disgust.
That's me above the reading woman, and above me is a crossdresser. I still laugh every time I look at him.

You can see some of the costumes I used at my costume site at Planet Garment and while you're there, the main page isHERE.
