This one took FOREVER but I'm pretty happy at how it came out.
That's me playing the lute in the right foreground. the guy right behind me is reaching for his beer, he doesn't want it to get knocked over. The guy in front of him is arguing with the guy with the sword.
Above and on either side of the young girl, in the right middle-ground, one guy is flipping-off the other guy. I had to use motion-lines on the other guy's hand so you can tell that he's giving a gesture. The only time I've used a "cartooney" device. I think that's an italian gesture, like us flipping someone off.
I used the poses from Jacopo Bassano's "Last Supper" for the guys at the table (picture below). The woman in the middle is thinking "Jeez, won't these guys EVER shut up? They're giving me a headache."
I like the armor on the guy at the table, but I especially like the guy he's talking to, in the fur and black hat. His face came out great.
