As with many recent ones, this one is definitely not my best. One reason is that the womens'
costumes at this time lend themselves to very little detail.
But it does have certain elements that I like. I like the couple on the far right (the guy with
the big black hat). I also like the couple in the left foreground (the guy tipping his hat). The young
girl drinking from the bottle (in the right middle ground) came out cute. Generally, the left side is more detailed. I rushed through the right side
(especially near the top, although the horses and buggy in the far background came out cool).
The uniforms of the military guys (as well as the fashions in general) are French. I got a lof of ideas
from Jacques Louis David's paintings.
The women in the middle are playing catch with a ball.
The bird on the table is a kind of "rail" (that's what it said in the bird book I used).
