This photo doesn't do it justice. The painting came out a lot better and detailed
than this picture shows. I made this photo somewhat larger than the others in an attempt for the viewer to see more of the details.
This is only the 4th one I did and they seem to be getting better as I go along. Compared to earlier ones, this one is a lot more tightly controlled.
I especially like the 3 guys around the bulldog. The guy petting him doesn't like dogs and the other two are laughing at him. The face on the guy in the middle is based on Tommy Lee Jones.
You'll notice the red wall on the left. This ties in to the previous one; "Roman 2".
This one spans the time from the fall of the Roman empire to the early middle ages (approx. 500-1100 A.D.). I made the costumes on the left more Roman looking and as you go further right, more and more medieval looking.
