2-09-04 celebrating one year of portable darkness! 3 live shows, 8 independent disc releases, and several new side projects later... portable darkness has not been idle.
live shows: thanx to the orpheum theatre, vesica piscis, pedro dia & universalia jane, and rev. bryan jr., deathrockdancehall & jkb productions...
new projects: 'the rasp' w/ dugrnet, bro. jeremy ruoss and special guests so far: derek (of sai baba), max aka. guy lombardo & jimbo who is just himself??? the 'rasp' has one release to date "media pa" which may soon be available through this website and also @ www.dugr.net; in addition to much new material piling up, not too mention a nice "dinner music" cd in the works. what is the rasp? when can we expect to see a website? the answer my friends can be found somewhere in the late classic film 'pirates of the carribean'. but seriously, www.therasp.com will soon find a home on the web.
also, an as of yet unnamed "hardcore ritual ensemble" is in the works, featuring pedro dia, james carpenter, ash, rev. bryan jr. and azrael ravencroft
+ special guests so far: universalia jane and woody (who gave me my psychic cross tattoo) the best recordings have already been taped over, strings broken, cigarettes lost, etc. be prepared!!! as for portable darkness solo work: one new compilation for 2004, 'Travelers Beware' which includes select work from Sigil/Wordless, as well as a new track "shadoworld." also coming soon : 'Chill Demons/ Angry Angels' 2 disc set. that's news. stay tuned.

lotsa news! * 1st off, the release section has undergone a major overhaul: includes covers, layout, and track listing for all 7 portable studios "releases" to date + some track info and relevant data pertaining to each cd.
* 2 disc best of portable darkness compilation cd "sigil/wordless" in the final stages of completion. just in time for xmass, this will be the 1st item available in the soon-to-be fully functional shop. *

own mc chris (aka hesh): "geek" and "hijack" ... more on that in the near future.
11-18-03 acoustic project clothing is up and running again after a year or so of inactivity. 'final approximation' compilation containing 3 years of singer/songwriter and other misc. tracks. possibly a full release cd sometime in early 2004. check sound section soon for an mp3 or two.
