Avoid fish much bigger (they grow to a maximum of 4 cm) Keep in large groups.
Harlequins are a very delicate, 'pretty' fish, and as they are peaceful and sociable, are ideal for the community aquarium, butdon't put them with fish bigger than 6/8 cm, and keep in groups of at least 12. Water needs to be hard, but acidic.
