Artist's note: It's also important to note that by January of the following year, Louis and his wife
Marie Antoinette were beheaded, and by Fedruary, the Bastille was completely demolished. While researching
the costumes of the time, I came across a picture of a dandy and just had to include him. He's in the lower
right. Granted, someone dressed like that would have probably been a member of the upper-class and not a
revolutionary, but hey, he could have been.
Also, the red caps some of them are wearing are called "Phrygian caps". These were a symbol of protest
against the monarchy. Funny that "Dopey" from the Seven Dwarves wore the same kind.
