Fankind is not only dedicated to the promotion of f81, but also to their fans. The band members of factory 81 have been known to thank their fans for all of their support at the end of interviews, on the official webpage, and at their concerts.

It is like Kevin said, without the neverending support of people like you and me, f81 wouldn't exist. Therefore, it is only fitting that the fans gain some recognition too, and that is what fankind is all about. The rewarding of fans for their endless dedication to the music and members of f81. Not just that, but the establishing of a f81 online community in which fans can exchange their f81 experiences, knowledge, and opinions.

In order to accomplish the above stated mission I need help from you. The key to this is feedback. If you have any ideas, no matter how silly you think they are, send them to me. If you have pictures, experiences, fan art, or just something to say...get it on this site. Every fan out there can do something, even if it is small. Simply placing a link on a music related message board can work wonders.

What is now known as fankind begain construction in December of 2000 under the name of 14left, shortly after I attended my first factory 81 concert. The site began to throb with information and support, but due to the condensing of Angelfire's web services, the main navigation menus were lost. The site was shut down in the late Spring of 2002. However, in February of 2003, I picked up the project again, and the result was what is now known as fankind.
