first place: mike (aka cows) |
|
Throughout the duration of this contest, Mike put a lot of thought and effort into what he did. His ideas were creative, yet simple enough for anyone to do. He started by sending an email that was linked to fankind to over thirty of his friends. Mike then proceeded with his work by linking everyone on his aol buddy list, but just that wasn't enough. For awhile his away message read, "Until I get back check out this awesome factory 81 site. https://www.angelfire.com/band/14left." Still, Mike's work wasn't complete until he made, printed out, and passed out fliers promoting the fankind website.

In order to prove his factory 81 fandom, Derek spent a day posting fliers at all of the music stores he could find between Chicago and Milwaukee. After accomplishing this great feat, Derek attended several local shows and handed out factory 81 cds inorder to create new fans. He is currently planning on getting factory 81 tatooed across chest in order to further promote his favorite band.
