the Rave with Sw1tched, 40 Below Summer, and Chimaira
We got there somewhat later than normal because of a time conflict with our ride. But we still got hugs from Kevin and Bill before the show. But that's about all we had time for. We got our normal front center spots again. Chelsea talked to Kevin a little before the show and another fan said that he had seen pictures of us. The band had showed him the pictures of us that we had given Nate months ago. Then the show started. It was the most wicked pit that I have ever been a part of. Nate came on stage with an “I Love Boys” shirt on. He also said that he thought of Bill’s grandma when he sat alone in the dark! It was so funny. But then, I got my head smashed into one of the monitors during the show. It hurt really bad but I had no idea what it looked like. I got lots of great pictures of the guys though. Then near the end of the show I looked up and Nate’s hand was outstretched towards me and Chelsea, and he was looking at us with a concerned look on his face. So I raise my hand and he grabbed it and pulled me on stage. I looked back towards the crowd and he was pulling Chelsea on stage. I noticed all the other people were looking at us like “Why do they get to be rescued and not us.” But them Nate directed us to the side of the stage to the backstage room. I had always wondered what it looked like back there. (It is just a small room with a bench.) We watched the rest of the show from there and used up the rest of our film. So after the show Nate walked off stage and I was right there and gave him a big hug and thanked him for pulling us out of the madness. I, then, noticed that there was a mirror is the room. So I looked at my head. It looked totally wicked. Then the band noticed it and were all concerned. Well, Nate kept laughing about how they should start taking pictures of all the injuries that people get at the shows and that I could be the first. He was just joking though. Then, we went out to buy merchandise and then the guys showed up again. And we talked for a while again. Then, we decided that we should get going home. But Kevin would not let me leave until I promised that I would put ice on my forehead right when I got home. So I promised. And we hugged them and left. I did put ice on my head right when I got home (I actually fell asleep with it on my forehead.) It was once again a night to remember!
