Shawn Crahan - Percussion
Nicknamed "Kong"
Shawn adds an interesting sound to Slipknot.
His drumset is made of titanium. He made it himself, because he has
a background in welding, and he's good at it. Shawn starts a good amount
of fights on stage, when he's not playing (another awesome thing about
Slipknot), and has a sort of rivalry with Sid. Shawn is also one of the
co-founders of Slipknot with Paul (2).
Quote - "I've wanted to be a clown because there's something nice about
me, and something pretty twisted as well. If someone stares at me on my
way to the stage, I don't get up until the look away first."

Shawn is by far the craziest member of slipknot. He has a habbit of
banging his head on walls and hurting himself. He has fractured knuckles,
split a collarbone, suffered slipped vertebrae, bruised his pelvic bone,
dislocated a shoulder, gotten a concussion, partially severed a finger,
and smashed his head often enough to require 22 stitches during performances.
Shawn is married, his wife's name is Chantal, and has three kids. Hes the
second percussionist, along with Chris. He does most of the interviews
and sometimes goes on with AIM and chats with slipknot fans. He also runs
slipknot2.com. He is 30 years old, the oldest of Slipknot. It is confirmed
that Shawn will switch masks for the next album, and it will definitaly
be a clown mask. The one he has now he found one day on the clearance counter
of a store,so he bought it. Shawn was the first in the group to wear a
mask. He wore it to practice one day and the group thought it was tight
, so they all started wearing them to rehearsal. Shawn was actually the
first member of the band to wear coveralls. Before they all wore identical
outfits, Shawn wore white coveralls with paint splattered on them. Shawn
used to be a welder before joing the band and has a set of titanium drums
that he made himself.
