[.Chapter 5.]
It's Just a Little Crush
Zac's Point of View
"I'll be having a blueberry muffin and a normal coffee with milk with two sugars." I heard Mandy say. To me, she seemed really sweet and extremely pretty. She had red hair and piercing green eyes. She wasn't fat or thin and she was about my height (maybe a little shorter). To tell you the truth I was beginning to form a crush on her. But my family taught e that even the most perfect people had flaws. My only job was to find Amanda's. "Zac! What do you want?" Mandy interrupted my day dreaming. "Umm, I'll have a grilled cheese sandwich, two chocolate muffins and a cappuccino." I ordered. I handed the cashier the money and sat down in the middle of Isaac and Mandy. "Wow Zac! You eat a lot for a skinny boy!" Liz commented. "I'm secretly the sixth Backstreet Boy!" I said while striking a "Saturday Night Fever" pose. "Yea he's the stupid one!" Isaac joked. "Shut up Ike!" I screamed in defense. I didn't like being called stupid and I also hated being teased, but since I was the youngest out of the three, guess who was picked on and made fun of the most? "Aww don't worry honey, Ike's just playing' with you!" Said Mandy and put her hand on top of mine. Was this some kind of clue? Was she telling me she liked me? No, I was just imagining stuff. Yea, just imagining. "Thanks for cheering me up!" I smiled at her and to my unfortunate surprise I noticed that she was gawking at my older brother. Millions of little thoughts passed my mind. If she liked Ike, did I still have a chance with her or was this the end? No, she had to like me just a little bit, I had to try everything I could to make her like me. "So guys! What are we doing after breakfast?" Emily was wondering. I saw Taylor looking her way practically drooling. Did that boy have a crush too? That would be pretty funny, now I could make fun of him about something! "Why don't we all split up?" Liz suggested. "Nah, that's not a smart idea, how are we all gonna meet up later on?" I asked. Mandy wanted to know what Ike wanted to do but a simple "I don't know" was all my brother said. He looked deep in his thought, so no one wanted to really bother him. "I got an idea!" Emily gasped. "Oh yeah, what's that?" Taylor's eyes lit up. "Well since tomorrow is mine and my sister's birthday, we can all go to a nearby amusement park and hang out!" "Yea, like an early celebration!" Liz added. "That seems really cool! Let's go!" Amanda squealed.
I didn't mind going either, after all spending time with friends and going crazy was definitely cool!
