The Concert
Mandy's Point of View
It was around two o'clock in the afternoon when we looked out the tinted windows of London Palace and saw that fans began to gather around the arena. Some carried signs some didn't. Some were big and some were tiny. Some people had paint all over their face. Everyone was different. "Wow, these people come early!" Zac yelled from the stage during a break. "Why what time is the concert?" I asked from my seat. "Around eight!" Ike answered. "My gosh!" Liz was surprised. Emily and me decided to go outside and talk to a few fans. When we got there, the girls knew that we were with Hanson because we came out from the backstage of the arena. "Do you know Hanson?" One girl asked. "Yea! We met them in the hotel. We didn't know them until like 3 days ago!" I answered. "Where are they staying?" Another fan wanted to know. "I am sorry, but we are not at liberty to discuss these things." Emily answered. I knew it sounded mean, but we promised the guys we wouldn't tell anyone their private information. When Em, sounded those words, it was as if the whole world turned against us. Well, at least the whole Hanson fan world. "Eww, you're bitches!" A girl said to us. We understood that the guys' fans didn't appreciate us so we went back inside. "How rude!" Emily said when we got back in. "What happened?" Tay asked concerned. "Well the fans wanted to know where you guys were staying and we told them we weren't at liberty to discuss that, and they basically called us names and stuff." I tried to explain. "I hate rude fans!" Isaac said dissapointed. We all were. A few hours passed and we were hanging out in the guys' dressing room. "Let's order pizza! I'm hungry!" Zac said. Everyone else was too. Thirty minutes later, the pizza came and we had dinner. "How much longer till the concert?" Liz wanted to know. Isaac looked at his watch. About 30 minutes, you guys better take your seats! "All right we'll meet you after the concert! Bye!" I said! "You guys have to watch me head bang!" Zac screamed. When we got to our seats, the arena was full. Fifteen minutes later a voice came on the microphone. "Ladies and gentlemen, without further a due we present, Hanson!" Our guys ran up on stage. The noise was unbearable! "Wazzuupp London?" Zac screamed. He looked so funny up there on stage. "Hey guys!" Ike said. "Are you guys ready to Rock?" Taylor screamed into the mike when he took his spot behind the keyboard. The crowd shrieked. "Then let's rock!" Ike screamed into his mike. "You guys all know what this is, and if you don't you gotta Shake a Tail Feather!" Taylor screamed again. More shrieks came from the crowd. The beginning chords of the song sounded. The song was fast and we all began to dance. "Common! Let me see some hands in the air!" Ike screamed. "How you guys doing tonight?" Taylor said in to the mike. Zac was head banging and his hair was everywhere. "I want to see your hands!" Taylor screamed again. We all danced through all of the songs. During the slow songs Zac looked at me and smiled. When Taylor was near us he shook our hands and winked. And Ike just kept looking over at us. Finally it was the last song of the concert. "This is an awesome song! And it's dedicated to our grandmother! Here's With You in Your dreams." Isaac announced. Hands swayed in the air and some people were even crying. The twins and me decided to go backstage and wait for the guys there. As we approached the backstage door the security guard asked us what we needed. We showed him our laminated VIP passes that the guys have given us and went through. "Wow! The guys put on an awesome show!" I said. Em and Liz agreed. "Yea that was hell of a show!" Liz said. "From now on, I am a Hanson fan!" Emily declared. We all agreed. "Oh so you're our fan now?" We heard Tay say. The concert was over and the guys came off stage. They were all wet and sweaty. "We have to sign a few autographs, we'll be right back." Zac said and followed his brothers out in the hall where a few fans were waiting for a meet and greet. "Oh my god! I love you!" One fan said to Zac. "Thank you." He smiled. One girl wanted to know if the guys had girlfriends. "We're all married!" Ike joked. "No actually we're all semi dating." Zac explained. I was wondering what he meant. I just had to ask him when he got back. After the meet and greet we all piled up in to Isaac's rented Jeep and went back to the hotel. "Pick us all up at our room." Emily said as we were getting out of the car. "See you!" Ike waved at us.
