Musically speaking, AllDayDrive was birthed from the need for more depth and feeling in musical expression. Inspired by bands like "Jimmy Eat World", "The Get Up Kids", "The Juliana Theory", "The Deftones", "Sunny Day Real Estate" and "At The Drive In" these boys took musical dynamics one step further. Their mixture of silence and excitement both physically and musically lends to a unique experience not often seen in today's music industry. Tim's passionate vocals, ranging from a barely contained whisper to the ragged edge of screaming, are only accentuated by Joey's backing on the guitar and on the mic. Joey's own song writing and singing ability stand alone in uniqueness and style. Logan, on the bass, plays with such feeling and ingenuity that it is nearly impossible to keep from throwing yourself into the frenzy on stage; when he plays the keyboard he truly makes music. Chris's multi faceted drumming lends a dimension to the over all sound that is hard to describe. While taking advantage of parts of his drums not ordinarily used in the music making process he creates the foundational bond that really makes this one of a kind sound work. Without his input, the volume changes that permeate each song would not be nearly as striking or as memorable. Emo kids love them, but they are not quite emo. Hard core kids love them, but they are not quite hard core. As a whole these boys know each other, their instruments, their songs and how each plays a part in the entertainment and self expression that is making music. "If you ever get the chance to hear these guys they are definitely worth every penny!" -Ebert Randell (Columnist) (and complete figment of my imagination) For complete spacific member bios: Logan - Bass Joey - Guitar/Voice Chris - Drums/New Tim - Voice/Guitar 26.15.15.23.26.2.23.9.18.22. |
