American Vampire's
(now called AmVamp) first
demo tape is the initial selection of titles from the group of songs
called "Leitmotif Be Damned (Act One)"
denotes the first public recording of these songs.
The six songs: "Painted Devil" "Heaven's Gates" "Edge Of Eden" "Charmed I'm Sure" "Lick" and "Tearing The World Apart", span the wide range of diverse song styles AmVamp is known for; Intelligent industrial-metal, dark gothic despondency, introspective death rock and superb balladry is combined with poetic and exquisitely crafted lyrics and produced with brilliant pop sensibility, making this recorded effort an excellent overview of American Vampire's talent. Although merely a demo tape, Leitmotif Be Damned (Act One) is much more than your average garage band effort, and features something for everybody that enjoys good music, but mostly for those who don't. |
