who: Ben Endicott
what: Assimilate is my musical solo project. It is the name of all the music I make by myself.
style: I would like to think that I have my own unique style. But some of the styles I like and can be heard
in my music are industrial, gothic, and experimental.
biography: I was first in a punk band called Dead End. I was the vocalist and guitar player and my cousin
was lead guitar. Needless to say is that Dead End never went anywhere. This is mainly due to
the fact that I did not live near my cousin. So after about 2 years we just decided to give it up.
My cousin, Neil Endicott, is in another punk band right now that is gaining popularity.
After moving around a bit. I ended up in SLC in the state of Utah. I befriended two people
there. One was Brian Cameron and the other was Tod Jackson. Brian and I decided to be in a
band after a while. He got a guitar and that was what was going to happen. Then I befriended
Tod. Tod had/has a huge impact on my life. He started opening up my musical tastes. He
introduced me to industrial and goth music. After a while, that is what I decided I wanted to
do. So I invited Tod into our little band. Soon afterward, it was obvious that it wasn't going to
work the way we had wanted. Since Tod and I wanted to do the same style of music, we were
forced to kick Brian out of the band. Now, this was a peaceful thing. Brian agreed with what I
had told him. From then on, Tod and I were known as Nihl.

was forced to break up because I had to move to Phoenix, Arizona. Since then I have been a
solo musician. Until now, I had been calling myself Stereofoam. Tod had also moved to San
Diego, California. After talking about it a bit, him and I decided that we did want to get back
together some day. But we agreed that Nihl is dead and if we ever did, it would not be called
Nihl. In the recent past, Tod and I did get together briefly. We worked on a few new songs and
have come up with our new name. We are now called Cesium133.
This band is not dead. From now on, together we will be called Cesium 133. That website has
all the info on that project. That is the history of myself until now. So for a brief summary,
Cesium 133 is my band and Assimilate is my solo project.
