Jebediah - Jebediah (Sony/Murmur) Album review Time Off Mag

Jebediah would definitely be one of the few bands around to be simultaneously loved and despised by so many.
This, their third album, relies strongly on more traditional rock riffs, which gives the album a heavier edge than its predecessor, Of Someday Shambles. While this album is lacking in a catchy pop equivalent to their earlier single ‘Feet Touch the Ground’, it is not without its gems.
The opening track ‘N.D.C.’ is definitely one of the highlights, as is ‘Baltic Ballet’, tucked away at the end of the album. The use of bagpipes on the current single ‘Fall Down’ is a bit of an oddity, but Kevin Mitchell seems to have refined his vocals somewhat - they are much less grating these days.
A consistently strong album from start to finish.
