Why am I the one
That finds the faults in this world?
Why am I the one
That faces all the problems?
Why am I the one
That must always be unhappy?
Why am I the one
That swims in depression?
Why am I the one
That hates myself?
Why do I have to be the one
That lies bleeding on the ground?
Why do I give my heart
And allow it to be bruised and beaten?
Why am I the one
That gets thrown to the floor?
Why am I the one
That everyone walks over?
Do none of you see me?
And do I see myself?
Why do I view this world differently?
I wish I was part of the ones
That can smile for no reason
I wish I was part of the ones
That find the good in all the bad
And not the bad in the good
I wish I could be able to
Always be happy
But I got the bad end
And I must forever be drowned
By the laughter that fills my head
By those that live in undending smiles

Last night I dreamed a dream
Of beautiful colors
All the greens, blues, and reds
Danced in front of my eyes
There's no reason to run and hide
Spinning in a whirl of prisms
Ray of lights
Bouncing from my heart
Shining through my eyes
Was a collaboration of colors from you
Adding up to be
The most beautiful thing I've ever seen
Here in my hands I hold
The source of all the colors
Creating a mass on the wall
From these colors come
The one meaning I've been searching for
Along with these colors
Comes the happiness that all my life I've been waiting for
In a circle they shine
Down on me
Deep within my soul
I know
These colors will never leave me
