*THIS CRUEL DREAM*©
I'm living in a dream
So far away, it seems
It comes quickly at night
There's no winning, don't put up a fight
I close my eyes
No more cutting down to size
No happiness lies in me
But when comes the dream
I swim in smiles
They drown the tears for miles
When I reach out to someone
I am taken, I am won
And when I search for reasons
I don't have to because you are my reason
Now I need to hang on
In my heart, there's always a song
In this dream of hateful fantasies
I don't have to cry a thousand seas
But then the light seeps through
I hate this life, I hate me too
I have to face the reality
That sends nothing but cruelty
I must wake up
Why? Why my dreams you corrupt?
Why can't I live in it always?
I want to leave this maze
Find a one way street
Where I am finally led to my dream
But, for now, I have to close my eyes
To get my prize
When the dream doesn't come
I must leave, I must run
From this place, from this part
But, mainly, from my heart

If you're here to hurt me
Go away, get lost
If you're here to get in my face, to scream
Go on, leave me be
If you're here to make me cry
Stop and keep going
If you're here to push, to pry
Stay away, take your lies
If you're here to make it all black
I swear, leave
If you're here to retrace, to go back
I don't need you
If you're here to maim my chance
I don't need anybody
If you're hre to bring me down, to take my stance
I hate you
I hate all of you
Every word you say
I try not to, but why do I let you get in my way?
Why do I let you bring me down?
Why do you choose me?
Can't you see what I see?
Don't you know how I am already?
You make me hate myself more
You took it all, I am poor
Left with only darkness and tears
I cry for what seems like years
But you don't care!
You laugh in my face!
You take it all away!
And it's you I hate!
