I'm struggling to find the right words
My heart tells but my tongue deceives me
Unable to utter one word
No sound escapes my lips
Or my heart
My soul calls out
Maybe replacing those words
Those tears that I hate so much
Maybe they tell what I long to say
Just look in my eyes
Maybe you'll see how I feel
It's so hard for me to speak
Try to understand
Nothing sounds right
Everything seems so wrong
What mistakes have I made?
Give me the things I need to say
Make him understand
Because I cannot
I fumble for the words
Stumble over my heart's feelings
I long so much for you to hear
Please, just let him know
I can't carry on without the one thing I love
It gives me air to breathe
Water for my thirst
Meaning to my otherwise meaningless life
You complete me
Please tell me you see
Don't misunderstand me
More tears seep from my eyes
Because I can't find the right words
