Hello cybernauts! those of you who have seen the band will know that I`m the more outspoken member (although really I am quite shy...ahh!). I started playing in groups in 1966 as a drummer and thoroughly enjoyed myself (and yes the sixties were great). In 1981 I was asked to put a guitar round my neck and join a band (says a lot about my drumming doesn't it?) and the rest as they say is history.
I was born Chris Partridge (nothing to do with David Cassidy) in 1948 and attended Overleigh Secondary Modern in Handbridge Chester from 1959 till 1963...so if anybody out there recognizes me (I had more hair then) get in touch.
In 1963 I started work as a grocery assistant at the Co-op and became assistant manager in 1967. I left in 1968 and became a delivery driver (sweets) and continued this work till 1989 when I had to stop because of back trouble. (Sounds like I`m writing a C.V).
I`m married to Patty and have been since 22nd April 1969... 3`o`clock on a Tuesday actually (I don`t forget anniversaries). I have two grown up "children" a boy and a girl and three grandchildren but I`m not ready for a Zimmer frame just yet...not quite! I`d like to thank Rick from the Tremeloes (name dropper) for sending me the odd joke for the laughter page..actually the odd ones are the ones I did not put in..
Those of you who have found this site by accident (or misfortune) get out your atlases and look for Chester and Wrexham in England (they're about 30 miles from Liverpool yeah, yeah, yeah.) There are a couple of links on the site. Thanks for taking the time to read this rubbish yer all come back now...there will be more some time.....Tatty...xxx
