*At the arena; 2:30pm*
Joey, Marce and I were sitting on the stage cross-legged, kinda talking and kinda thinking. We think way too much, I know. At least I do. I couldn't wait for Fox to run into the arena and into my arms. I know he'll make all my weird feelings go away. Dare was backstage in the dressing room, again on my cell with Kent. And Cher was also backstage hanging out with Christina Agularia. The two of them got along great.
"So how are you going to tell Nick?" Marce interupted my thoughts again.
"I don't even know yet... I'll probably just come right out and tell him, and see what happens from there." I sighed, she nodded, but just as the opened her mouth to say something else, the doors at the back opened and I saw three guys run in. I knew it was them. Luke was the only one who ran right to us. The other two just kinda walked slowly.
When Luke reached us on the stage, he whispered,
"Ahhh, they're both in bad moods..."
"Bad moods?" Joey asked, "They can't be in bad moods... what happened?"
"Well, we met these girls at the beach... don't worry Fay, your boyfriend took off and waited on the bus all day. But Tony and I hung out with these three girls for like an hour and let's just say Tony got a little too attached to one of them." he laughed.
"So why is Fox in a bad mood?" I asked.
"Beats me... he just hasn't really said much." he replied.
About two minutes later, they were both up on stage with us. Fox walked slowly to me and pulled me into a hug.
"Man, don't ever leave me for a whole day again." he whined.
"It was only four hours!" Luke laughed.
"I'm sorry baby, if it makes you feel better, I was bored all day too... we should've been together." I told him, ignoring Luke.
"I love you." he said and pressed his soft lips on mine.
"As much as we'd love to watch you two do that... we have to start the soundcheck." Marce laughed, getting up to her feet. Then she ran backstage to get Dare and Cher.
During the soundcheck, I felt like I should stay extra close to Fox. I just wanted him to keep me in his arms. Everytime he had to dance with one of the other girls, and Tony or Luke had to dance with me, I imagined it was Fox holding me. The soundcheck felt extra long today. Yet really, it was shorter. We were finished at ten to 4pm. When we went backstage, all sweaty and tired, Aaron and his mom were there waiting. Joey picked Aaron up and spun him around.
"Hey pal, how was your trip up here?" she asked him, putting him down again.
"Good, it felt like forever." he mumbled.
"Yeah, how are you?" she asked.
"Good, how was your trip?" he asked with a smile. He was adorable.
"Pretty good, we played Nintendo games all night." she told him.
"Cool, sounds like fun... I guess we better start my soundcheck early..." he said, not really sounded like he wanted to.
"Ok, have fun, Aaron... come find me when you're done ok? I'll be backstage somewhere." Joey told him. He nodded.
Fox and I went into the dressing room, along with everyone else.
"Who wants to shower first? There is three showers, again." Marce asked everyone.
"I want to, quickly." Joey said and took off.
"Me too." Cher jumped up and ran over.
"I might as well, if you don't mind, Marce?" Dare said.
"No, I'll wait." Marce finished.
"Yeah, I'll wait too." I agreed, grinning at Fox.
So Marce sat down and started talking with Tony and Luke, and Fox and I left the dressing room again. We just walked around, holding hands. It was now after 4pm. We stopped, and I pushed Fox up against a wall.
"I- I think I want to tell you something." I told him. He grinned again, not saying a word. "I... I've really spent alot of time thinking about this, and everything... and I've finally realized that I do... I do love you." I told him. He grinned.
"I knew you did... but saying the words is alot harder than feeling them." he told me.
"Man, I'm so glad I said that... I love you Fox." I told him again, "I love you so much."
"I love you too." he replied. I leaned really close to him and put my lips on his. He wrapped his arms tightly around me and deepened the kiss with his tounge. Getting a little carried away, I began rubbing my body against him. He was surprised by this, but didn't pull away. Right when it felt perfect, like nothing could go wrong, I heard,
"Shit... Fay?"
I jerked away from Fox as quick as I could, to the sound of Nick's voice.
"Is this what you wanted to tell me?" he yelled, getting upset. I said nothing, and Fox was confused. "C'mon, Fay, is this what you were going to tell me?" he yelled again. I nodded,
"Yeah, I had to tell you that I'm with Fox now... I'm sorry." I whispered.
"Ok... well I guess it's better that I found out, because you probably would never have told me." he said coldly. "Goodbye Fay." Then he turned and walked away. I felt so mean. I had lead Nick on by letting him hug me and everything, and this is how he finds out that I'm with Fox. Shit.
"What just happened?" Fox asked me.
"I'm sorry baby, don't worry about it. I just hadn't told Nick that we were together yet... and you know that he still liked me... so I had to tell him." I replied.
"Ok, so now maybe he'll leave my girl alone..." Fox mumbled cutely. I couldn't help but smile at him, even though I felt bad for doing that to Nick.
We went back to the dressing room awhile later. It was 5pm when I looked at my watch. Fox and I were just sitting on one of the couches, and he just had his arms around me. I had forgot about Nick, well, I was still trying to. I could still he that look on his face, every time I closed my eyes. I just wanted it to go away.
"Are we staying here until the concert?" I heard someone ask, but I wasn't really paying attention.
"Yeah... we don't even get dinner until after the concert." Joey said angrily. I looked up. I wasn't hungry. That was the last thing on my mind.
"Man, that sucks. So we have like two full hours backstage, doing nothing?" Cher asked.
"Yeah. I'm going outside with Aaron after his soundcheck. We'll like go and meet some fans or whatever. Just to pass some time." Joey giggled.
"Oh, Fay, what happened with... you know? Did you tell him?" Dare asked me. I looked at her a little sadly.
"Yeah, Nick knows..." I replied plainly.
"How'd you tell him?" Joey wanted to know.
"I didn't... Fox and I were just making out and he walked up to us and saw..." I replied.
"Oh, was he mad?" Marce piped in.
"He looked mad, yeah... but I'm not worrying about him..." I lied, letting my voice trail off.
No one else said anything about it. The room fell silent, and actually stayed silent for close to a minute. Cher broke the silence.
"Well, I'm gonna go find Christina... and those soulDecision guys are so hot!" Cher laughed.
"Mind if I tag along?" Marce asked her. She shrugged.
"No, sure you can." Cher agreed, "Let's go."
Then the two of them said goodbye to us and left the dressing room.
"Dare... you wanna come with Tony and me... we're gonna go find the pinball machines?" Luke asked Dare. She grinned.
"Sure, let's go." she answered, and the three of them left the room, too, leaving just Joey, me and Fox alone.
"So... I guess I'll go watch the rest of Aaron's soundcheck." Joey said, standing up.
"Joe, you don't have to leave just because we're here. We can do other things, not just making out, you know?" I yelled at her. She giggled.
"Well I can tell by that look on Foxy's face that he wants me to leave... and I wanna go see Aaron anyway, later." she smiled and left us alone again.
