Chapter Eighteen:
Give Them a Chance

*10 Minutes Later; Entertainment Room*

"So, are soulDecision still playing?"

I looked up and heard someone talking. The entertainment room was quite big, so I didn't even know who was in here with us. Fox was sitting next to me on the couch, our hands were joined. I looked around and saw Cher and Christina watching a movie in the corner, Luke, Tony, Joey and Dare were hovered around the pinball machines, and Marce was just sitting on the other couch reading a magazine. I realized that Christina or Cher must have asked that question, so I answered,

"Yeah, I can still hear them playing Gravity... isn't that their last song? I asked.

"Yeah, who's on after them?" Cher wondered. Pretty bad, it's our second date and we don't even know the schedule our performers.

"Aaron!" Joey yelled, while she played pinball.

"And Backstreet Boys are after him?" Marce asked, looking up from her magazine.

"Yup." I said with a smile.

"Why do you look so happy since you came in here? What happened?" Fox asked me, almost in a whisper.

"I just made some new friends." I giggled.

"Really? Who?" he wanted to know.

"Well, first of all... Nick and I made up- wait, that didn't come out right. We talked and we're cool, he understands we're together and he's ok with it." I told him with a smile.

"Oh... cool. That's great. Does he hate me?" he asked.

"Well, kinda of." I laughed.

"And who else did you make friends with?" he asked me.

"Um, one of the guys from Rowdy... Seth.... did you meet them?" I asked him.

"No, not really. Why do you have to make guy friends...?" he asked with a grin. "You know all these guys want you, cuz your so gorgeous?" he asked.

"Nobody wants me anymore, just you... and you've got me." I told him.

"Your damn right I've got you, I've got you forever..." he mumbled, "I love you, baby."

"I love you Foxy." I replied. Just as he was gonna lean down to kiss me, Joey yelled,

"I'm gonna go see Aaron before he goes on."

"Ok, go see your boyfriend!" Marce joked with her.

"He's not my boyfriend, he's 13!" Joey yelled back, "Bye!"

Then she left the entertainment room happily. I watched her leave. As she closed the door, I was thinking about when I would tell the girls about Nick, and Seth.

Why not tell them now? I thought to myself.

Then I glanced at my watch. 9:30pm. I liked just sitting here with Fox, not doing anything, or worrying about anything. But I decided to speak and call the remaining girls over to the couch.

"Marce, c'mere, Dare, Cher, c'mere, we need to talk." I told them. Then I whispered to Fox, "Go over and play with your brothers, ok?" He nodded and stood up and left. Then the girls all came and sat beside me.

"What's up, Fay?" Marce wondered.

"Guess what happened?" I asked them.

"What?" Cher asked, excited.

"Nick and I talked and we're cool, he's not mad at me anymore... and he understands everything with me and Fox." I said with a smile.

"Really? That's awesome, Fay." Dare told me. I nodded.

"And you know Rowdy?" I asked. They all nodded, but gave me weird looks. I could tell they still didn't like them.

"I talked to one of them, Seth, he's really cool, and he's not stuck up or anything, I don't know about the rest of them. But Seth is really talented, and I watched their performance tonight." I said.

"Oh... cool. Well I don't know about them, but maybe they aren't not as bad as we think." Cher said.

"I hope they're not." Marce agreed.

"Maybe we should, like, sit down and talk to them or something?" I asked them. They all looked skepical, but nodded.

"Yeah, we should give them a chance." Cher agreed. "Hey Christina, have you talked to the guys from Rowdy yet?" Cher called to Christina.

"Last night they came up and found me, and they kind of just gawked over me for awhile, but they were ok." she laughed. And before anyone could say anything else, the door opened and in walked, who else, Rowdy.

"Oh, hey girls, mind if we come in for awhile?" one of the taller ones asked. It wasn't Seth, but Seth gave me a smile.

"Oh no, come on in." I said, and the four guys walked closer.

"I guess we should actually introduced ourselves... I'm Fuller, I'm 16." the tallest guy, with blonde spikey black hair and dark sunglasses told us.

"Uh, I'm Mark, I'm 17." the smallest guy smiled. He was cute. He wore a backwards hat.

"I'm Seth, I'm almost 18." Seth grinned at me, and then looked at the other girls.

"And I'm Jay, and I'm 16, too." the last guy said. He was average height, and had jet-black curly hair. He also wore sunglasses.

"Nice to meet you guys, I'm Marcella, and I'm 19." Marce smiled, holding out her hand to Seth first.

"I'm Cher, and I'm 17." Cher smiled, holding out her hand to shake Jay's hand first.

"I'm Darron, call me Dare... I'm 18." Dare told the guys.

"And I'm... Fay... I'm 17 too, and we're missing our fifth member, she's around somewhere." I laughed, still smiling at Seth.

Suddenly we heard someone "fake cough" behind us, and we all turned around and saw the three guys, Tony, Luke and Fox, grinning at us.

"Guys, these are our dancers, Tony, Luke and Fox..." Cher introduced them.

"You guys are lucky you get to dance with this ladies..." Mark told the dancers, and they nodded proudly.

"Yeah, why don't we have dancers?" Seth asked cutely.

"I'm not only their dancer, I am Fay's boyfriend." Fox spoke up, warning the guys to stay away from me. I sighed, smiling at him. Then I walked over and wrapped my arms around him.

"He's just trying to say he'll kick your ass if you come near me." I joked, and kissed Fox's cheek. They four other guys laughed.

"Don't worry about that... Mark and I have girlfriends back home." Fuller told us.

"Guys... you can sit down, you don't have to stand all night." I laughed, changing the subject. So the four guys sat down on the big couches.

"I'm gonna go watch little Aaron perform, you wanna come, Cher?" Christina asked, standing up.

"Sure, I love watching him." Cher agreed, and the two of them left, after saying goodbye to us.

That left three girls (me, Marce and Dare), and seven guys, Rowdy, and our dancers. I looked at Fox. He shrugged. I wasn't sure what to do or say. So we were all just quiet for awhile.

"So... girls, how long have you been together?" Seth asked us. Finally, a question.

"Um... almost five years now... we've been doing our own small tours for two years, and we have one album and two singles out over in Europe and Russia." Marce told them.

"Cool, so this is your first big tour?" Jay asked us. We nodded. But before anyone could say another word, we were interupted.

"C'mon guys, they're talking about singing, and that's one thing we don't do, let's get out of here." Tony grinned.

"Yeah, let's leave 'em alone." Luke agreed.

"Uh, ok..." Fox said, although he didn't agree. He didn't want to leave me here with these guys. He moved really close to me and whispered in my ear, "I don't want to leave you here." I nodded.

"I know you don't... but we'll just be talking for awhile, ok?" I asked him.

"Fine, come find me when you're done." he said sadly.

"I will..." I replied.

"I love you baby." he grinned, just before Luke grabbed his arm. Then the three of them left the room.

For the next ten minutes, the seven of us just kinda talked about the tours and about them and lots of stuff. It was five to 10pm when we decided we should leave. I knew the BSB would just be going on, and Aaron would be done, so Cher and Joey would be with him. So all us got up and left the room together.
