*An Hour Later; 7:30pm*
Me and the girls were gathered in our dressing room, still rambling on and on about how much fun the party was going to be. We just couldn't wait two more days. The guys were down in the entertainment room with the Backstreet Boys, just hanging out. But not because they wanted to be. Tony, Luke and Fox are the kind of guys that would rather just hang out together than with a bunch of other guys. That's why they haven't really become friends with BSB, when they should be. So we made them go hang out together. Plus, I don't want Nick and Fox to be enemies.
"I sure hope Fox and Nick are getting along." I thought out loud.
"I'm sure they are. Anyway, Nick would win if they got in a fight." Joey laughed.
"Yeah, Fox would be squashed like a bug!" Marce chimed in.
"I'm not sure if you're insulting Nick or Fox, or both, for that matter. But I don't appreciate it very much." I told them all seriously.
"Holy shit, sorry Fay. We didn't know you could get that serious." Dare smiled. I cracked a tiny smile.
"I'm sorry girls. Man, what the hell is Fox doing to me? He's making me insane. I love him so much." I told my friends.
"We know you do. And he loves you just as much." Cher said.
"Yeah, we're happy for you." Joey laughed, giving me a hug.
I nodded, knowing they were happy for me and Fox. And Dare was happy with Kent. And all the other girls were so pumped about the party, they couldn't think of anything else to make them angry or even sad.
So then why the hell do I have a weird feeling in my stomach? I asked myself for the third or fourth time that day. Some was wrong, somewhere. I just didn't know what.
*Another hour later*
We ran off the stage, all sweaty and smelly. But no one seemed to care. We hugged Jamal, who was the only one of our managers that seemed to be around. He congradulated us on another show well done. Then I grabbed Fox's hand and we ran to the dressing room quicker than the rest of our gang. They had stopped to talk to Aaron, Nick and Brian, I think. I didn't want to be rude, so I stopped to say 'hi', but then Fox and I took off. I felt like I just needed to kiss him, alone.
"I love you." I told him, as I locked the door, forgetting that the rest of the group would want to come in in just a few minutes.
"I know. I love you too." he replied, pulling me into a hug. Our lips met a second later, and he pushed me down on the couch. Then he climbled on top of me.
"The party's gonna rock, huh?" I asked him, taking a breath.
"Uh huh, and especially the next day, that we have all alone." he agreed, but didn't stop kissing my neck.
"Yeah..." I moaned. Man, he was making me crazy.
I guess I'm lucky that there was a knock on the door about a minute later. We looked at each other. Fox didn't want to get up. I shoved him off me with a laugh, and ran towards the door. I fixed my hair and shirt before I opened it. There stood Joey, Aaron and a guy with pink hair- wait, it was Funky Phil from the radio station. And he had a young girl with him. I smiled at Joey.
"Is this a bad time?" she asked me with a slight giggle. She knew what Fox and I were doing.
"N-no, not at all. Hey Phil..." I said, but let my words trail off.
"Hey, Fay, this is my niece Terrah, she's a huge BSB fan, but she's afraid to meet them." Phil told me. I nodded, looking down at the girl. She was really pretty, for 11.
"Hey Terrah, I'm Fay, um, would you like me to come with you to meet them? They are really, really nice guys." I asked her. She nodded her head "yes". I smiled and turned around to face Fox. "Fox, I'll be back in awhile. Stay here, ok?" I whispered to him. He nodded.
Then I grabbed the young girl's hand, and her and I, followed by Phil, Aaron and Joey, all went to find the BSB. We walked around for a few more minutes, and saw Christina grabbing something to eat off the food cart. We stopped and talked to her for a minute, but then we continued on to find the BSB. They weren't anywhere around, so I suspected they'd be in the entertainment room. Except only perfomers were allowed in there. We stopped outside the door. Joey went in to see. She came back out a minute later, with Nick and Brian. I saw the look on Terrah's face. She just about screamed, but she held it in.
"Nick, Brian, this is Phil and his niece Terrah, Phil is from the radio station we were at today." I introduced them. Nick and Brian nodded.
"I think we've met, probably a long time ago." Brian smiled and shook Phil's hand. Then Nick did, too.
"Hey Terrah, I'm Nick, how old are you?" Nick asked, smiling down at the little girl. She was speechless. She just took a deep breath.
"Terrah, answer his question, don't be rude." Phil nudged her.
"Uh... I'm, I'm 11, yeah." she finally got out. She was just staring that them, like they were ghosts or something.
"Cool, so are you enjoying the show?" Brian asked her. She just nodded. Rowdy was on right now, so they decided to come backstage for a few minutes.
"Alright, well, maybe we'll find the rest of the guys so you can meet them, later?" Nick asked her, and she nodded again.
"That'd be... awesome." she finished.
"Ok, thanks for coming." Brian told her.
"Oh, um, could you guys sign this?" she asked, holding out her autograph book to them. They, of course, agreed and grabbed markers to signed it for her. "Thanks." she finished.
"No problem, see you later." Nick finished, as Terrah, Phil, Joey and Aaron turned to walk away.
"Hey Fay, are you busy?" I heard Nick asked me. I turned back to him and shrugged. I thought about Fox, but I knew I had plenty of time with him later.
"No, why?" I asked back.
"Just wondering if you wanted to come in and hang out, or whatever." he asked. I smiled. I was so glad that everything was better between us, and we were friends.
"Yeah... sure." I replied, and followed him back into the entertainment room.
We sat down on one of the couches. Brian was busy playing one of the pinball machines. Nick and I were silent for a minute, so I broke the silence,
"So, what did you and our dancers do earlier, when you were together?" I asked him, wanting to know so bad.
"Just hung out, and talked, you know, nothing much." he replied. That wasn't the answer I wanted.
"Who did you talk about?" I wondered out loud.
"Everything, the tour, how they met you girls... you." he finished, smiling.
"You talked about me?" I questioned the last part of what he said. He nodded. "What about me?" I asked again.
"I just told Fox he's really lucky, you know, to have you. He knows I still like you, and I always will. But I understand that you're with him, and you're happy. I'm not happy about it, but I'll live." he joked. I smiled.
"Thanks Nick. I like you too, really. But I love Fox..." I mumbled, but he heard what I said. He just smiled again.
There was an awkward silence between us again, and luckily, we heard a cell phone ringing just a second later. Nick, Brian and I all pulled out our cells, and found out it was mine.
"Excuse me for a minute?" I asked Nick. He just nodded. Then I pressed "talk" and said hello into the phone.
"Fay!" a heard a voice. I knew who it was right away, even though he sounded alot different on the phone. My dad. I'd only talked to my family once since I've been gone. Once in four days, man, that's crazy. I was so happy to hear his voice.
"Hey Daddy!" I screamed into my cell.
"Fay..." he said, sounding a bit sad, or something. I couldn't tell yet. "I have bad news." he finished.
"Ok, what is it?" I asked, practically shaking. I wasn't sure what he was about to tell me, but I knew it was bad.
"It's Andie, she's really sick again, and she... she wants you to come home." my dad told me. I gasped. I wasn't expecting that. Not at all. Andie had been really sick with bronkitous about three months ago, and missed alot of school, since she was in the hospital. But she'd been better for over a month now, and we thought she wouldn't get it again, even though we knew it was a possibility. And now it's back.
"Shit... I mean, are you serious? When did it come back?" I asked, in total shock.
"Two days ago, we were going to call you sooner, but she just went to the hospital last night. And now she really wants you to be here with her." he told me sadly, knowing it would be hard for me to leave.
"Dad... I mean, I want to go home to see her and be with her, but I have a show tomorrow-" I started, but stopped myself, realizing that we had two days off after tomorrow night. Saturday and Sunday. But that would mean missing the party!
"I know, and you shouldn't leave the tour just to see her. The doctor said she'll be fine in a few weeks. She wants you here." he told me again.
"Dad, we have our first days off on Saturday and Sunday, I can leave after the show tomorrow and come home for two days, and then be back before Monday night's show." I informed him.
"But, we don't want you to miss your first break. We just wanted you to know." he stated.
"No, Dad, I'm coming home. I'll talk about it with Trevor and Jimmy, and I'm sure they'll be fine with it." I told him again.
"Ok, Fay, but if you can't, it's ok." he replied.
"Tell Andie I'll be there on Saturday morning. And tell her I love her... and everyone." I said. My stomach was still doing sommersaults. I didn't want to miss the party. But my family had to come first.
"Ok, Fay, I will. I'm very proud of you." he said.
"Proud? Why?" I asked him.
"For everything. For being me daughter. I'm proud you're my daughter." he told me. I felt tears in my eyes.
"Awww, Daddy, don't make me cry. I better go tell everyone, ok?" I asked him.
"Ok sweetie. I love you." he finished.
"Bye Daddy." I replied and pressed "end" on the cell.
