During the next few days, I spent alot of time with Fox, and no time thinking about Nick. I didn't call him, or think about him. I was so happy. It was September 7th. Fox, his brothers, and our other friends were all back at school. Jimmy and Trevor called us a few days ago and really want us to decide what the next single will be. We don't have to worry about it until the album is out, on September 20th, but they want to know in advance.
So today we're getting together to "talk". We know that it's going to take a long time to decide. And we don't want to have to worry about it.
*Two Hours Later; 2pm*
"So..." Joey mumbled, as she bit into her Whopper Jr. again. We were pigging out at Marce's house, eating Burger King and whining about what we should do. It was so easy the first time. We were singing Here To Stay on the tour and it just seemed obvious that we should release it as our first single. But now we have to pick another. The video that was released for Here To Stay was just us singing live on the tour. We didn't actually have to film it. We have to choose the next single and shoot a new video before the end of September.
"So... anyone have any suggestions?" Marce asked, munching on her french fries. I smiled at her, as she stuffed her face. That's what we usually do when we don't want to worry about something, we put it off by pigging out on take-out.
"Well..." I started, looking around at my best friends. "We've been here for an hour and we've come up with nothing."
"Yeah... so..." Dare spoke up. "I was thinking... do ya'll think we should make it one of the other songs we sung on the tour, or a new song?"
"Hey, yeah, that's good... that's a start." Cher laughed. "I think..." she began, but really didn't know what to say.
"I think we should do a brand new song, because the people that saw us on tour will think that we don't have any other songs..." I said.
"Yeah, and the people who didn't see us on tour will get new music, too." Joey agreed happily.
"Ok, so, good, this is good." Marce laughed, pulling out the track listing from the cd. "My favorite song on the album is still Don't Fall for Me."
"But don't you think that is too... you know... negitive... at least for now?" Dare asked. We all nodded, knowing she was right.
"I think Innocent Girls would be perfect, you know... just to introduce us to the world some more." Joey laugehd. She always had good ideas.
"I'm with Joey on that one, that's an awesome idea." I agreed, smiling at Joey.
"Yeah, I agree." Cher laughed.
"I'm in." Dare smiled, then we all looked at Marce, who, of course, let out a laugh.
"Well, me too!" she replied.
"Great!" Joey jumped up. "We finally came to a decision! Now we can go tell Jimmy and Trevor!"
*An Hour Later*
We called Jimmy and told him our decision. He was happy and proud of us, that we handled this on our own. Then he told us something that made us all crazy, and excited at the same time. It would be a big weight on our shoulders, but we really wanted to do it. Jimmy told us that we had the choice to come up with an idea for the new video. We said yes, of course, and started right away. We came up with a ton of ideas, but most were stupid or just silly. We made plans to get together every day for the next week and come up with something great. We knew we could do it.
*3 Days Later*
We finally came up with a great idea for the video, after two days of no sleep, and not much food. We just spend the whole time in Marce's basement, putting together our ideas and suggestions.
It was Joey, believe it or not, that came up with the actually plan. The song is about us, the way that we actually are. Most people probably see us as shy girls, who don't get rowdy (lol) or party or whatever, because we haven't been in the spotlight for very long. But that's not us. This song really describes how we are and how we act. The video is going to do just that, too. It going to show each of us seperately doing different things, and then we'll come together at the end, to be Cruel Sensation.
