Just a few minutes later, the door to our dressing room opened and in walked Fox. He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me. He was already totally mad, he didn't want to have to deal with me. So he just turned back around.
"Fox!" Dare yelled to him. He stopped, but didn't turn around to face us.
"What?" he asked.
"Come over here. What's wrong?" Dare asked him. He didn't move.
"I- I came to find my brothers, but they're not here. I gotta go find them." he lied. He was a bad lier.
"No, Fox, come here. Why did you go to BSB dressing room?" Cher asked him. He took a deep breath.
"I didn't... well I did... but it doesn't matter. I gotta go, alright?" he asked, still not facing us. I felt my heart break. He didn't want to be in the same room as me. He was really mad.
"Ok... ok Fox. We'll see you later." Joey finished, with a sigh.
Then we watched him leave. The four girls all looked at me sadly. I didn't say a word, I couldn't. I didn't know what to say. My boyfriend is mad because he thinks that Cher's boyfriend likes me. Isn't that crazy? Well, it's true. Even Cher is starting to believe it.
Well, we were told that we have to stay in at the arena all day. We have to eat from the catering table, which isn't that bad. Better than nothing. The five of us sat in silence for a few more minutes. Suddenly the door opened again and someone came in. Doesn't anyone know how to knock?
"Hey girls, are you busy?" Aaron ran in and asked us.
"No, why?" Dare asked back.
"Just wondering. I didn't want to interude. I was going to go see Nick but his dressing room is locked." Aaron told us. We nodded.
"Cool, you wanna hang out with us for awhile?" Joey asked him. He nodded happily and sat beside her on the couch.
The six of us talked for a good ten or fifteen minutes. Then there was a knock on the door. Aaron jumped up and answered it. It was Nick.
"Hey Aaron, can you leave for awhile? I need to talk to the girls... well just Cher and Fay." Nick told his brother. Aaron nodded and looked back at Joey, Dare and Marce. They both got up off the couch and followed Aaron out of the room. Nick closed the door behind him, and locked it. Then he walked closer to me and Cher, who sat on seperate couches.
"What's up, Nick?" Cher was almost afraid to ask.
"I got a not-so-friendly visit from your boyfriend, Fay..." Nick told me. I frowned. "He threatened me and told me to 'stay away from you'. What the hell is up with that?" he asked me.
"I have no idea. I'm sorry. He's just over-protective of me. He knows that you liked me before, so he figures you still do. I don't know, ok?" I asked Nick sadly.
"Whatever, it's ok. I won't fight him, make sure he knows that." he finished, and looked away from me, at Cher. She looked a little sad, too. "Alright, Cher... I really do like you. I mean it. But... this whole situation is just messed up right now... do you think it would be better if we were just friends?" he asked her. I was shocked that he said that. But she wasn't. She knew that was coming.
"Yeah... I think maybe that would be ok. It would be better." she agreed. I was also shocked at she agreed.
"Alright, cool... I don't want you to hate me for this." Nick said sadly, looking into her eyes.
"I don't, I won't. We're friends." Cher said sincerely. He smiled. Then he hugged her, and turned back to me.
"You, you don't hate me, do you?" he asked me. I stood up and hugged him.
"Of course not. And I would really like it if you and Fox aren't enemies. But he's stubborn, really stubborn. I'm sorry for what he did." I told him.
"It's ok, really. I'm over it." Nick finished, grinning again, "So are you girls coming to our party on Tuesday. It's gonna be sweet."
"Yeah, we'll be there." Cher smiled. I knew she was happier this way, anyway. I nodded.
"Yeah, we wouldn't miss it." I agreed.
"Alright, awesome. I'll see you two later, ok? Thanks for being so cool about everything." he smiled again.
We both hugged him again before he left. After he was gone, we both turned to each other and hugged. It felt really good to hug Cher again, to know we were still best friends.
*7:30pm That Evening*
"Oh man, where's Fox? We need him for the warm up, now!" Luke yelled. He knew that Fox was a little out of it today. But he didn't know why. Both Luke and Tony looked at me for the answer.
"How the hell am I supposed to know? I don't always know where he is!" I screamed at them, and walked away.
"Man, are Fox and Fay fighting?" Tony asked Cher, who was the only other person there. She nodded.
"I think so." was all she said. "I better go do the warm up, too. If I see Fox, I'll send him to you." she finished.
"Ok, thanks. Oh and Cher... are you and Nick still together?" Luke asked.
"No, we're not. It's ok though." she replied. "See you guys later."
"Bye Cher." Tony and Luke said at the same time.
Cher walked over to where Dare, Joey and Marce were doing their voice warm ups. She sighed.
"Don't tell me Fay's not here." she demanded. They all looked at her.
"Uh, no, she's not. Why?" Marce asked.
"She just screamed at Tony and Luke and took off." Cher replied sadly. "I feel kind of bad for her, you know?" she asked. The girls nodded.
"I know. She's got Fox, who loves her. And she loves him. But then there's Nick... and he just makes Fay feel really bad... and then there's the thing with Kent-" Joey said. But she stopped dead and covered her mouth quickly. "Oh, shit." she finished, turning away from the girls.
"What?" Dare yelled. "What thing with Kent? What are you talking about?"
Joey gulped. She wasn't sure what to say. "I... I can't say, I'm sorry Dare." she said in a whisper.
"No! Joey, tell me! He's my boyfriend! What happened?" Dare yelled again, getting angry.
"I'm sorry. I promised I wouldn't say anything." Joey replied.
"You promised who? Fay?" she asked. Joey didn't say anything. "Fine, I'll find out myself." she finished, and took off.
Joey sighed and fell to the ground. Now she knew that I would be mad at her. But she didn't mean to tell her.
Dare ran around backstage, looking for me. She checked the dressing room, no one was there. She found the BSB, and no one had seen me. She finally found the dancers, and asked them where I was.
"Are we supposed to know where Fay is at all times?" Fox yelled angrily.
"Sorry... I need to find her." Dare replied and took off again.
She kept running. She went outside, although she knew she wasn't supposed to. Then she saw me, talking to a group of fans, behind the fence. She ran over to us.
"Dare!" a young girl yelled. Not wanting to be rude, Dare smiled at the girls.
"Hey, how are you?" she asked nicely. The fans just screamed louder. Then she whispered to me, "We have to talk, alone, now!"
"Why?" I asked quickly, sensing something was wrong.
"Come on!" she finished.
So we said goodbye to the fans and Dare pulled me out of their sight. She didn't look very happy.
"What's wrong?" I asked her. Me and her had been really close these past few days. She stuck with me through everything, and I was really greatful of that.
"What happened with Kent?" she asked rudely. I gulped. Who the hell told her? The only people who knew were Christina... and Joey.
"What? What do you mean?" I asked, pretending not to know what she meant.
"C'mon, no more lying, Fay. Tell me what happened." she demanded.
I took a very deep breath. This wasn't going to be fun. Not at all. And I really didn't want her mad at me. The five of us girls were finally ok, no one was fighting. I didn't want to ruin that. I just had to hope that she would take it ok.
"Ok... so, Kent hasn't told you anything?" I asked stupidly. She just stared at me blankly. "I'll take that as a no... ok... when I went home, I went over to Trey's to see everyone, you know, Trey, Ash, Aranka... and Kent." I began. She nodded.
"Yeah, you told me that." she said, waiting.
"Ok, well Trey and Ash went out to get Aranka, and they went out for dinner or whatever... and left Kent and I alone." I told her. She swallowed hard, knowing what was coming. "We were just talking and whatever, and then he just sorta... he kissed me. But, let me finish," I said, knowing Dare wanted to talk. "He said he just misses you alot and he's really lonely without you... he was really sorry... and I'm sorry for not telling you earlier." I told her.
"I... I don't know what to say. I mean, I'm not surprised that he kissed you. He's horny, you're really pretty, I mean, it's not that big of deal." she started. I smiled, but knew she wasn't finished. "But, you should have told me right away, and he should have, too." she said. I nodded, agreeing.
"I know I should have. I was going to. But everything with Cher and Nick, and now Fox is pissed at me. I'm really, really sorry." I told her again. "Please, forgive me?" I asked.
She was silent for almost a minute. I was just praying to myself. When she finally spoke, I was so happy.
"Ok, I really don't want anymore fighting on our bus, or the whole tour. So I forgive you." he replied. I grinned and pulled her into a hug.
"Thank you so much. I don't even deserve your forgiveness. I love you Dare." I told her happily. She ended up smiling.
"I love you too, Fay." she finished, and we hugged again.
